Loved Warren although I think he mailed it in the last couple of seasons in Seattle after he signed his contract.
We had an offense in the early 90’s?He, Brian Blades, and John L. Williams were our whole offense in the early 90's.
Yea running backs who are as good as they were for 4-5 years will break down. It’s rare to see a RB who’s been the focal point of an offense play like year 3 in year 8. And only backs like sanders who retire early don’t have those Emmitt smith years in Arizona.I get that. He did get a bit soft in the last year or two of his career. I do recall him making some "business decisions".
However, not unlike Shaun Alexander, I forgave them both due to the breadth of their careers with us. Their talent, stats, all speak for themselves.
I don't focus on the negatives with players like these. I just care to remember the good, the fantastic plays and overall success they had wearing a Seahawks uniform.
