You know I've been at Seahawk fan since 1976 and I don't think I ever realized how good Chris Warren was...

Loved Warren although I think he mailed it in the last couple of seasons in Seattle after he signed his contract.

I get that. He did get a bit soft in the last year or two of his career. I do recall him making some "business decisions".

However, not unlike Shaun Alexander, I forgave them both due to the breadth of their careers with us. Their talent, stats, all speak for themselves.

I don't focus on the negatives with players like these. I just care to remember the good, the fantastic plays and overall success they had wearing a Seahawks uniform.

He was so good - but I think he thought he needed to set himself up for a bigger venue, and I think he thought he'd step into Emmit Smiths role in Dallas, not knowing Emmit had a few years to go...

Yea running backs who are as good as they were for 4-5 years will break down. It’s rare to see a RB who’s been the focal point of an offense play like year 3 in year 8. And only backs like sanders who retire early don’t have those Emmitt smith years in Arizona.
