Trading DK would make one of the best WR rooms, one of the most mediocre. Obtaingin a pro bowl guard would make the worst OL in the league , still one of the worst. We have 3 guys that are not starter quality, one starter quality guy and one very good player. Adding one more very good player is not going to move the needle.
I am for getting at the very least 3 starter quality OL.

Moving on from DK to replace him with one pro bowl lineman wouldn't be my wish. To keep both DK and Lockett doesn't compute IMO . Having one of the best WR groups might be a bragging point but doesn't matter when you rush for 30 yards per game . This team can't have balance without a capable line. That's ok because they can't pass block either .

Lockett has very little trade value, DK does. What good is a stud reciever if he has no time to run a route and our QB has zero time in the pocket? We could have jerry rice in his prime out there and it wouldn't matter because our OLine is a turnstile. People need to stop looking at the Shiney toys and start looking at the trenches. Because that is how championship teams are built. From the inside out.
Man…I’ve been a strong advocate of NOT letting DK go..even with the penalties and fumbles.

I see him being a 1500+ yards, 12 TD receiver on another team(s).

But…your post makes a lot of damn sense to me.

I hate that I like it but, I can only imagine what Geno could do with JSN and Lockett given ample time.

K9 could easily be a 1400 yard RB…I might be selling that short a bit.

Not behind this O-line.

What a conundrum.
