With the gigantic Sherman win today, the CB situation just got a whole lot better for the playoffs.
Assuming the Packers and Niners take care of business, we'll be playing on the road at either Washington or Dallas in the Wild Card round next week. In that case, does Browner come back and start right away? Does he play a lesser role? Split time? Ease him in a bit? Not play at all?
I'd like to see something like this:
RCB: Sherm, obviously
LCB: WT3 (hoping he's healthy)/Browner splitting time
Slot: Lane/Maxwell
This way both Browner and WT3 are eased back into the game after being hurt/suspended. The last thing we need is for Browner to come back too fast and pull a hammy. Not to mention, WT3 and Browner have two completely different skillsets and they could be maximized based on which situations both are played.
