IU just spanking them, a three-loss team that shouldn't have gotten in.
Is he related to GeFraud? And bye deFRAUD.
Indiana is really legit.
Let's not pretend that wasn't a complete drubbing of Alabama. Today's 35 point loss (38-3) was the worst loss Alabama has suffered since 1998, some 26-27 years ago. Alabama's 3 point total also tied the lowest point total in the team's history. They also had only 23 yards rushing. True, Indiana was a 7 point favorite in the game, but they beat Alabama like were a Group of 5 team that got into the playoffs who really didn't belong there. It was a 3 loss team facing an undefeated #1 team in the nation.
Not sure what people were expecting. This is what #1 teams do to 3 loss teams.
It is less Kalen falling short in a big game, and more one team being materially better (on every level) than the other team.
It was a drubbing but Alabama had no business being there. No other 3 loss team would be in that game. And Bama was destroyed by Georgia too. It wasn't like they were trending up...Let's not pretend that wasn't a complete drubbing of Alabama. Alabama was a 3 loss team from the SEC who played in the SEC championship game and took one of their 3 losses in that game. The SEC is by good measure the strongest conference in college football from top to bottom, the Big Ten the only other conference that comes close to them in that regard. Let's have a little perspective here. Yes, Alabama lost to Georgia pretty handily, but they also beat them earlier in the year.It was a drubbing but Alabama had no business being there. But
What 3 loss team would play better? Not sure any 3 loss team would...because no 3 loss team is in that game.
Its still a 3 loss team in the SEC, which really only had real contender (GA). Ole Miss is a pretender that just played nobody to rack up a good record. Texas A&M is Texas A&M. OK and Texas are 'goodish' but overall the SEC is not a great conference this year.Alabama was a 3 loss team from the SEC who played in the SEC championship game and took one of their 3 losses in that game. Hey, we disagree. That's all. You seem to think a 38-3 loss by Alabama was not at all surprising, but rather an expected drubbing. I tend to think it's going to be seen as a bad loss for the program, one that's going to put the heat back on DeBoer and the direction of the program by fans, media, alumni, especially alumni who are big contributors to the program. Its still a 3 loss team in the SEC, which really only had real contender (GA). Bama is not and was not a top ten team. Shouldn't have been in that game. Were completely exposed because of it. Being near the top of the SEC really just exposes how weak the SEC was this year.
That Bama was a leader in the SEC pretty much disputes the 'SEC is the strongest conference in college football'. Its probably the Big 10. Ohio State is better than most if not all the teams in the SEC. So is Oregon (more accurately GA is likely as good as Oregon...no more, no less) . And Indiana is #1.
(Meanwhile one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the SEC, Ole Miss, struggled with WSU.)
And again NO team with 3 losses should be playing for the national championship.
