I'm the Debbie Downer so often. I'm straight up gonna reserve any additional comment on this until after the parade.

No sense pissing on a win that was so elusive for 11 years!

Wish I could attend the parade!

And if he doesn't go to the parade, BFD. It's HIS CHOICE. Just like taking that job was HIS CHOICE.
Not trying to sound like an a**, but the stuff that people actually get worked up about is just plain strange.

He was a part of a superbowl winning team and delivered along with the rest of the team. I wish him luck and I dont think the raiders job is as bad as people think. They were mediocre when pete took over with hope. Hes working with a bottom tier team with a top pick so he gets to build it the way he wants. I look forward to the battle between Macdonald and Kubiak in the future.
Bro. This is all you need to see to recognize. The Raiders are a dumpster fire.

Far behind in what, though?

I'm trying to understand here.

What would be the loss in waiting a few more days before starting his new job?
Far behind in being competitive in any meaningful way?

I wish him well and have absolutely no hatred for him - but that organization is a disaster.

KK flew from SC to Las Vegas with wife and children in tow on Monday morning. I would guess that his attending the parade would be a long shot. The story stated that he had already concluded his celebration with the Seahawks.

Do you have info that he's not going to the parade tomorrow?

I was merely going by this.

But you're right, though. Who gives a shit what he wants to do?

Like you said, if he doesn't want to attend the Parade, that's his choice (even though I think it's a dumb one but that's just my opinion)

I’ve always loved the rivalry between Seattle and the Raiders during the AFC West days. I’ll cheer for Kubiak with the Raiders. I’d like to see Kubiak defeat the Chiefs, Chargers and Broncos. Hopefully, Kubiak, can turnaround the Raiders franchise cause I don’t want to see the Chiefs continuing success and the Broncos coming up. Don’t want to see Harbaugh and the Chargers winning. Maybe we will see a Mike Macdonald Seahawks vs Klint Kubiak Raiders Super Bowl in the near future.

That would be pretty awesome!

My only concern is that he will try to poach staff from our team. He's going to need an OC, DC, and ST; so I'm guessing he'll grab Peetz or Janocko for his OC, and if we don't go in-house for our OC, all the others might follow him just to make sure they have a job.

The defense and special teams guys are all McDonald's so I don't see an exodus from those units.

I bet you are...... have fun still having a top 10 pick for your contract.

Could have stayed won a second ring and gotten a job for an actual team....

Buh bye... Peetz? Arthur? Who is it.... cant imagine the philosophy changing that much. Its not like Klint scripted up some amazing plays we havent seen

What say the posters here?
You're a psycho. It's a huge promotion with a huge pay raise. Wake the F up. Almost anyone would jump on that.

More money, more power, more prestige. He got a super bowl ring as coordinator, and a 2nd one wouldn't mean as much as becoming an NFL head coach. Congratulations to him, and now we have a desirable position open

Takes more than a good (TBD) head coach to turn a crappy organization around. But, I agree with your main thesis.
