MM is definitely in the conversation at present for coach of the year, along with the Indy and Pats coach. I've heard two voters for the award mention him as such. Why don’t you put Mike McDonald in the coach of the year conversation?

Macdonald is deserving, but his problem is that the team won ten games last year, so at the moment, it looks like the Pats or Colts have made a bigger "turnaround". He probably needs to go 13-4 and win the division at worst (or he risks losing it to McVay, who I've seen get mentioned too), with those two teams falling back at least somewhat. Why don’t you put Mike McDonald in the coach of the year conversation?
Yeah instead of protecting Dart, Dabol let him get hurt to try to salvage what was left of his jobDaboll's problems are myriad. One he is losing and a lot. Two see number one. Three he cant seem to put a team together.
I think the last straw was probably in an effort to save his job he kept running Jaxson Dart like a RB and now has him concussed. I know this wasn't all Daboll - some of it is Dart's nature - but a coach has to temper that instinct in some players and Daboll failed miserably at that with Dart.
Also the whole running into the concussion tent while dart was in there was a TERRIBLE look for the Giants. He will be a fine OC somewhere for sure.
Do you think Pete is still getting any credit for what this hawks team is?Macdonald is deserving, but his problem is that the team won ten games last year, so at the moment, it looks like the Pats or Colts have made a bigger "turnaround". Schneider getting the exec award is more likely the way things stand right now IMO.
Well...in my books, JS and MM built this team.Do you think Pete is still getting any credit for what this hawks team is?
TBF Dart did say he was not going to change how he plays, so we can'tDaboll's problems are myriad. One he is losing and a lot. Two see number one. Three he cant seem to put a team together.

He certainly deserves some. He hasn't been involved in the past two offseasons though, so whatever influence he had really shouldn't factor any into the Exec award.Do you think Pete is still getting any credit for what this hawks team is?
The dude is just not a good leader. Has zero to do with Russ. I remember seeing a post game presser of his after their season was ended in his first year as coach and the way he came across was 100% arrogant and tone deaf in how he spoke about his players - the anti MM. The spotlight was on him and the team for how well they played that year, and you could tell he enjoyed playing the role of the 'Big-Cat'. Not good. There is something to be said for emotional intelligence in leadership. Daboll, from what i have seen, has none. Xs and Os and a hard-ass persona can get you but so far. If you dont know how to effectively criticize, praise, and build belief among the men you are leading, you end up like he has. Its the way the vast majority of coaches end.lol some of you guys are so obsessed with Wilson. Some of it is trolling and some of it is just odd.
Daboll got fired because they keep losing games and he struggles controlling his emotions.
agreed we are so lucky to have who we have. The dude is just not a good leader. Has zero to do with Russ. Makes me that much more thankful for JS and MM.
I agree Mike is making this team his, and it’s awesome, but he didn’t start with nothingHe certainly deserves some. He hasn't been involved in the past two offseasons though, so whatever influence he had really shouldn't factor any into the Exec award.
