We all saw Carson’s last stance when he had to formally tell coach no. It never should have come to that level of public extremis in a game that was out of hand. The fact that he was unwilling to insert his healthy qb3 into a mop up environment transmogrified his error.

Crazy that Wentz wanted to keep playing despite. And that the doctor allowed it. It's not just a sprained ankle or a bruised rib. Dislocated shoulder, torn labrum, and fractured socket sound unimaginably painful, and I would think getting hit a certain way, or hitting the turf with enough force, could greatly worsen the injury. Taylor Heineke would seemingly be the best free agent option out there. The Chargers’ qb2 in 2024, he lost his job to Trey Lance. It’s weird how he hasn’t been tried out while options like Nathan Peterman and Desmond Ridder have been. Hopefully KK keeps his trick plays and milroe pkgs until it's a blowout so the fallout doesn't lose us games
If you take out every one of them than we would be possibly 6-1 , at least we'd have a lot less fumbles and not lose rhythm during important games

When Shanahan saw Mac Jones down in pain for cramps during the rams game, he said he started preparing play calls for Adrian Martinez only to look up and discover Mac was running back out there. Mac did not look progressively gimpy afterward. And tellingly, Kyle mentioned that the game was tied at that time. It maybe does when a game is tied like at Niners Rams when Kyle didn’t stop Mac from running back out after a tv timeout where we saw him rolling on the turf. If it had been 40-10, Kyle would have stuck Martinez out there. They’d be losing. Those kinds of scores are when both sides send in their backups anyway.

The Vikings could have used that second half of their rams game as experience for Max Brosmer instead of destroying Wentz. Now Brosmer is backing up McCarthy with no experience whatsoever. Koc signed John Wolford to the ps today, meaning he’s ineligible to be promoted as an emergency quarterback.

All of which makes me wonder how Koc was so good with Sam. Or if Sam was actually good in spite of instead of koc. There’s a reason Sam consistently praises the Shanahan system and Purdy vs Minnesota for where he is.
