The dude is just not a good leader. Has zero to do with Russ. I remember seeing a post game presser of his after their season was ended in his first year as coach and the way he came across was 100% arrogant and tone deaf in how he spoke about his players - the anti MM. The spotlight was on him and the team for how well they played that year, and you could tell he enjoyed playing the role of the 'Big-Cat'. Not good. There is something to be said for emotional intelligence in leadership. Daboll, from what i have seen, has none. Xs and Os and a hard-ass persona can get you but so far. If you dont know how to effectively criticize, praise, and build belief among the men you are leading, you end up like he has. Its the way the vast majority of coaches end.
Makes me that much more thankful for JS and MM.
