As for the AP thing: he will never get hit for using PEDs for healing. Why ? It's becoming more and more of a standard practice for doctors to prescribe HGH after surgery. It's proven to drastically reduce healing time. If AP was using HGH or something similar under a doctor's orders, and this is a doctor like Andrews who is basically a league sanctioned doctor, we'll never hear about it. There's no story there.
As for Sherm, the only thing that makes me wonder is that he was completely confident the entire time that he was going to be exonerated. The odds were definately against him in the NFL for beating that unless there was something legitimate going on. So, whether he was innocent, or he knew beyond the shadow of a doubt he didn't do anything, it's done and history shows he was clean. I could give two craps about the "court of public opinion". Most of the general public are complete and total morons.
