Exactly, especially with the Patriots playing opening night. No way the NFL wants this to be the story that kicks the season off.
Unless the league wants to embarrass the Patriots so bad they knock this crap off that they purposefully put them on opening night so everyone shames them even more.
But that's not plausible either, cause Bill Belichick has no soul. He cannot be embarrassed, shamed, he can't be bargained with. He can't be reasoned with. He doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And he absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.
