Is OP serious? Wilson was terrible yesterday. One bad decision after another. The O-Line was great yesterday for the most part. Wilson constantly gave GB short fields to score on our defense.

He was pressured 23 times the Oline was terrible as usual and I'm afraid that Russ is starting to hear footsteps as a result.

Yeah, O Line was pathetic. Sucks they got down so quick because the running game was there for the taking. Rawls was at 5 plus yard a carry.

A few thoughts:

1) Cold weather hurts the passing game, and our run game looked good (5.2 AVG). So why weren't we pounding the rock until they made us stop?

2) Our receivers didn't bring their 'A' game: concentration drops, body-catching, and just overall lackadaisical attitude. (e.g. Baldwin and Locket both tried to catch that "free play" bomb from RW in their bellies, ran into each other, dropped it, then laughed about it when we were down 3 TD.)

3) Why hasn't AC hit the waiver wire yet? (17 ATT, 42 YDS, 2 FUM)

4) I wonder if the Rams will take Bevell if we throw in a 5th rounder...

This O line gives him no time to pass most downs and zero pocket to pass from. In addition the receivers get very little separation. You can point out he missed Jimmy and Baldwin deep but he again was having to create room for himself to throw because of the lack of a pocket because of the pass rush. Lastly even though they say he is healthy, Russ's legs are not the same as in the past. Not sure if this is due to injury or not.

IMO any QB behind this line and with these receivers would have a tough time.

You speak the truth my friend.

He was terrible. He single handedly lost the game yesterday. But anyone saying that isn't a bad fan, nor do they hate Russell.

Russell has this aura about him with fans where they can't bring themselves to point any blame towards him. If Andrew Luck had that game last night, there'd be a 10 page thread about it right now in the NFL section.

Face it, he was garbage yesterday. But I have no reason to believe he'll do it again.

Actually Russ was pressured 23 times. Second most in his career. He was Terrible but it's silly to say it was all him. Fant was pathetic and as a hole they couldn't pass block against a bad Def line. Everyone was bad today.

And a lot of those pressures were again on Russ. He scrambled his way into trouble several times. Our line is what it is, Russell has to adjust for this.
