I would choose the team ending 2012 regular season over this one so far. Thoughts?

Do we have an option? Kind of think we've just been rolling with the punches.

For me, it's more about "Are we better now than after Week 5 of 2012." For that question, I'd answer yes. But I won't compare now to December 2012.

The Seahawks were better in the last quarter of last season than they are now.

However, the Seahawks now are better than they were at this point of last season.

I think we'll see the level of play - especially on offense - continue to improve, especially when all of our guys who are missing due to injury return.

The losses of the OL and McCoy are really hurting.

The team at the end of last year was playing better in all phases. Until the passing game gets more consistent the 2013 team loses this contest.

That's the main thing. Plus, Irvin got back this week and looked good. The o-line and Percy will be coming over the next month or so... when all is said and done, the end of this year's team will be better than that of last.

Its an unrealistic question. The team IMO is better but circumstances are different.

What's unrealistic about it?

Last years team had the OL at full strength and the offense clicking on all cylinders.

Not a good set of poll questions. A team should almost always be better at the end of a season than they are at the beginning if there is not a high turnover of personnel. The thing about Petes teams in Seattle are that they seem to really come together at the end of the season. A better comparison is 1st 5 of 2012 vs 1st 5 of 2013. Lets compare 2013 with 2012 at the end of the season.

Desperately hope we draft an O-lineman high next draft. Even when we had our O-line at full strength at the end of last year, a good D-line sacked Wilson what, SIX TIMES in our own house against the Rams? It hurts right now because we only have two of our starting five, but even at full strength, our O-line's not something to brag about.

Are you talking about the team as in " Roster" or just the guys playing the games? Half the team has missed at least half our games. Rice missed all most all of camp too. I know teams are rarely healthy during the season but this is ridiculous. We are missing mikerob from last season for sure but passed him its just the bunch of guys on the training tables and in the sauna's instead of on the field that we miss.

two out of six counting the TE and from the thread title you could posture we are also missing Rob's pass protection from last season.

The team on the field. Look, every team has injuries and I don't want to use that as an excuse. Lets even take the last 2 home games against the Niners. We beat them handily both times but I think we were better in the 2012 game. We had numerous rookies play great in 2012 and not really any stepping up this year as of yet. I just think we were more talented last year vs this yr.

Yes, the team is better with Okung, Unger, and Breno in the lineup. How is that a question? With a healthy line, this team is better than it was at the end of last year.

I'd pick the Hawks team that didn't drop to 4-4 by losing to the 4-12 Lions.

Losing to the eventual AFC South winners by 6. Yeah I'll take that.
