Seriously though, you would define Bennett as what's called a quick twitch athlete. Doesn't have the long range 40 time, but in the short area he's got violent speed. He uses that well with the explosive first step and then following with secondary and tertiary moves really, really quickly and with power. I'd bet he probably throws Tyson-esque mean punch (short area quick twitch). He needs to be a big part of the D this year and with no clear cut 3 tech taking the spot I might be inclined to advocate Bennett playing a lot of 1st and 2nd downs split with Red at 5, while Red never really leaves on 1st and 2nd downs moving to the 3. If this last game is any indication, I may be getting my wish months ago when we signed Bennett. If Bennett leaves the field I want it to be because of fatigue and he needs a breather so that he can keep being explosive behind the LOS.
