Awesome, I was worried he'd be out for some time

He was full go yesterday too. Pete said in his presser yesterday that Bennett is fine so no worries this week in that department

Unreal.

Does anybody know where that preseason thread is where we were predicting who would lead the team in sacks this year?

(I said Bennet)

I'm Debbie Downer... Zach Miller was out (hamstring). That's huge.

Eeek, Miller being out would suck. He can block a DE on his own, if need be.

Great to see Bennett out there, but man if Miller doesn't play we are in serious trouble.

Wishing (once again!) that we hadn't broomed McGrath. Great to have Bennett back though!

Somebody needs to explain it to me.

How does a player get carted off the field strapped to a backboard, then show up to practice hitting people four days later?

A good chiropractor maybe?

Precautionary probably. It involved his neck and his back. They're not going to take any chances

Duck tape, titanium screws, and hug from mom....that's how? Maybe he was not hurt so bad, just tweaked his body to the point he was in shock, but with back injury/stress perhaps medical thought carting him out was best bet. Good news!

because if you get hit and get a bruise and a little swelling in most places on your body, it's no big deal.

if you get a bruise and swelling near your spinal chord, it can be a pretty big deal.

luckily, it wasn't a big deal.

Precautionary.

Zach Miller is a tough SOB. He'll play if he's able.

Also, I'm a believer in Kellen Davis... he might have his issues... but he is pretty much the equivalent of Anthony McCoy. He can be a serviceable TE and I think he will do just fine once he finds his comfort zone and settles down.

I also believe in Willson, many thought his athleticism would make him dynamic receiver, but its his blocking that's earning him playing time. I feel like Wilson is going to grow into a complete TE capable of dominating as soon as next year with a full off-season of training and some goals in mind. He's lucky to have Miller has sort of a mentor, teacher, and role-model. Miller is the embodiment of a consummate team player with all around ability, definitely a great football player to look up to and leech from.

I will NEVER forget that hell of a game he had against the Falcons after he tore his plantar fascia on the 3rd play. What a freaking beast.
