Sure, Go ahead and start who?... Sam?, I'm not sure if you know this but Sam threw 21 INT'S last year with the Commanders.. What do you think he could do behind this oline? Geno is running for his life out there and leading the league in passing yards with 2,560yds while being the 4th most sacked QB with 28... What do you want from this man?... Geno isn't the problem...

While Geno is average, he still gives us the best chance to win. We are clearly rebuilding and I expect to see major changes over the next 2-3 years and Geno is a perfect gap filler for that period. Howell is not a winner and not the answer for the future either. So Geno can win some games and fill the position while we fix this mess.

Playoffs can still happen, IMHO, and Geno is best chance. Play Geno until officially out of playoff race. It doesn't look great but it still could happen. Maybe it's just the bourbon talking. :)

I was yelling at the TV to sit Geno towards the end of the game, just because I thought he'd lost his composure and could use a wake-up call before the next game. Then the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter happened and demonstrated, once again, that I should probably stick to electrical engineering and not NFL sideline coaching.

Geno gives us the best chance to win this year. But if we continue to fall, at some point later in the season, I think you'd want to find out if there's any potential whatsoever of Howell being our new placeholder QB till we can hopefully groom a new young QB sometime in the not too distant future. I have a hunch, I could be wrong, that JS is not looking at Geno as our QB beyond next season at the latest.

We play the whiners after the bye. If Geno struggles against them it's time. If he can't play well with 2 weeks to prepare. Its time to move on.

And Geno is on pace to throw the nearly same amount of Picks this year. He's thrown 10 already VS 11 Tds. He won't be resigned so why not see what you have in Howell? While I think he's low on the blame list he hasn't been good most of the year. He's a walking turnover machine. Not entirely his fault for sure but I'm of the opinion that he's not going to be here after this contract expires. It's almost set in stone.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.

This is basically where I fall on this topic. Love or hate Geno, the reality of the matter is that Geno is ultimately "Pete's QB", and Coach Mcdonald just might possibly looking towards a very near future sans Geno Smith at the helm. Right or wrong, no one could really fault him if that's the case.

Howell won't do any better, ride or die for the rest of the season. I'm not even thinking about QBs until that "OL" gets fixed, otherwise, all changes will be for not.

He’s not really running he’s more kinda ducking and covering or flinging

I know a quarterback who doesn’t fling at all… he just picks and eats
