It had to be done. He single handedly cost the Bears a lot of games with his coaching.

He made a few of the most embarrassing coaching decisions I’ve ever seen as a football fan.

It’s bad when even people that know nothing about the game are questioning and confused. Mind you, this is after he blew a game with his poor clock management a few weeks prior.

What’s even worse is his attitude
afterwards. He looked almost disinterested and he had an extremely cavalier attitude. His excuse was “trust me bro, I was right.”

His management of the players was something that would make even Jim Mora JR blush. His clock management was atrocious and his ingame decision making was an embarrassment.

Probably one of the most warranted firings I’ve seen. This season it was a meltdown of epic proportions, despite having a relatively strong roster.

Brown will be interim coach. This had to be done. The players were in open revolt against Flus.

If the Hawks are still holding onto the division lead when they play the Bears, I will root for Seahawks. Just don’t tell anybody on my Bears forum! LOL
There is no doubt in my mind that the players were as pissed at Eberflus as the fans were. It was as obvious of an error on a head coach as I've ever witnessed, and every player on the team knew it. It was like he didn't care. It was a similar sentiment back in 2009 when we fired Jim Mora Jr. after just one season as head coach. He'd lost the team.

And your secret is safe with me. The Bears' season is toast, so the rest of the year is nothing more than a glorified preseason. I feel sorry for the season ticket holders. Who in their right minds is going to want to sit out in an old, open-air stadium in Chicago on the day after Christmas to watch the Bears vs. Seahawks?

The Bears fans will be there for the game.

Poles said it was not just one game. Eberflus displayed a pattern of screwing up to lose in the final seconds. The Commanders had no timeouts left and needed a 15 yard pass to even get in position for the Hail Mary. So protect the sidelines and let them complete any pass they want but tackle them inbounds and the game is over. It was s obvious that even the damn TV announcer said that BEFORE the play. Flus even had a timeout available to set up the defense.

He seemed like a good dude but man some of his coaching stuff was wild. It’s weird because I guarantee you he’s a smart football mind. High pressure situations can make people do weird things though
