Thats wild. He was super upset and tried to keep it professional but ya feel for that team and those fans. What a rough hand theyve had. At least they win sometimes and make the playoffs. *cough* Browns *cough* Cards.

I can see Buffalo turning into a pumpkin now and if that happens Josh will be sent for picks. Lots and lots of picks.
Good for him - I hope he finds a good organization where he can get a ring. I remember Elway struggling for years with a Broncos team that was having about the same success as these Bills. But then there's Marino, who never got one.

McDermott took the Bills to the playoffs in his first year in Buffalo--and this was before they got Josh Allen. Tyrod Taylor and Nathan F'ing Peterman were his QBs.

He went to the playoffs in 8 out of the 9 years that he was head coach there. What more can you ask for?

I don't understand this mentality of "yes, he wins but he can't win the big one." It's hard to make it to the playoffs consistently. And once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen when two good teams play.

And this was supposed to be a step back year for Buffalo, having lost a bunch of players to free agency and injuries and trying to rebuild on the fly. It's amazing they made it into the playoffs.

A couple of my friends and I were just talking about this possibility yesterday, and how it might explain why McDermitt was so irate about that call in OT, one that was reviewed and IMO correctly called, that resulted in an interception. IMO he saw how Harbaugh was fired and Tomlin resigned, perhaps under pressure, and how with that opportunity to win the game disappearing, it resulted in him facing the firing squad.
You & I seem to be in the minority as I also think it was called correctly.
If the ball had just come out & hit the ground when they went to the ground it would have definitely been ruled incomplete so.......

So 56% of Bills fans think that firing McDermott was the right decision:

There are apparently some pretty dumb fan bases out there. Enjoy your next 5 years of mediocrity.

The Terry Pegula press conference to address Sean McDermott's firing was a disaster. At the very least, it seems like the decision was not very well considered. Pegula says that he didn't consider firing McDermott until after that loss to the Broncos.

The weirdest part of the press conference was Pegula throwing McDermott under the bus with respect to Keon Coleman (2024 Buffalo 2nd round pick WR), saying that it was McDermott who wanted Coleman, not Beane, as if all the problems with the WR position came down to one player.
