Looks like Hunter Brown is going to take the hill Sunday in place of Framber Valdez.

I think if the Mariners can pick up a couple games on Houston this series they have a legit shot at the West title. The M's schedule is a bit easier than Houston's and we have 6 more home games than they do in the second half. We should also improve our roster at the deadline. They are 5 games back right now.

If Cal struggles a bit (or a lot), it's not necessarily because of the HR derby. Cal was already slumping before the all star break. He's hitting for a .128 average so far this month, with only 5 hits (although all 5 of those hits were HR's). Hopefully he can get back on track, but the 2 weeks prior to the break were pretty rough.

I mean... it still is lineup.. I get you for sure. Id love to see some kinda better utility.. not sure whats up with D Mo lately... probably the lack of consistent at bats... We really move that lineup around WAYY to much at certain positions if you ask me.
