The thrilling victory against our arch-rival 49ers was not only a great win, but it is the kind of win that can turn a team's trajectory around. It truly was a must-win game in every sense. Now we have a shot to recapture first place in the division with the surprising 6-4 Cardinals coming to town. I would totally understand anyone who picks the Cardinals this Sunday. I might normally myself but I wish to remain on the high of that surprising victory in Santa Clara. Injuries or not, if we can beat the 49ers, we can beat the Cardinals.

Let's not crown them yet. Yes El Shrimpo is having a career season. It looks like he's finally put down the game controller and picked up the playbook. Good for him. Their offense will no doubt challenge our defense and if we are not careful this could be a shoot out to the finish.

I'm sticking with my warm and fuzzies and going with the good guys.

Aros' Fearless Prediction: Seahawks 28 - Cardinals 24

El Shrimpo. That's hilarious!

I'd say that we regained a teeny tiny bit of swagger. Keep in mind that 2 of our ass kickings were without DK. And he was drawing LOTS of doubles at the 9ers. And we beat them in their house. Not even going to get into the Lumen 'advantage' :)

Not going to call the score but we're gonna come out swinging. In general I'd put it at the O/U - but I think we win by a FG.

And the line is -1 - so not the only people to think it's gonna be close.

After evaluating the last 2 games and how well we played I like out chances this week. If we had this same team during training camp up until now we would be 9-1 in my honest opinion. Our only loss would have been to the Lions. Yup, I think we beat the Bills at home with this team. We're a completely different team with all the adjustments we've made. This is the team I envisioned before the season started. With that being said my prediction

Hawks - 31
Caerdinals - 20

Cards are consistently playing good, strong, football. Better than they have been for years. If we win this one we will have to do it the old fashioned way and EARN IT. If we play clean and solid without making mistakes we can win a game like that. IF. If our D can get blitz action down pat and get to Murry we can win a game like that. IF. If we can do damage with our running game we can win a game like that. IF

We have to contain their rushing attack. Murray is not lighting it up, he's just playing efficiently and keeping mistakes minimal - having a great year in that sense. They are 5th in both rushing yards and rushing per game. Going to be another big test for our run defense. Our offense needs to step it up, it's been 3 games in a row now they've only scored 20 points or less.

Again, we slow there roll in the run game and finally look good at home.

The Cardinals have been quietly putting together a really good season. Their rushing offense is 6th in the NFL, even better than the 49ers, so stopping that will be a challenge.

Jonathan Gannon has also gotten his defense to play well, and they're 11th in points allowed and 15th in yards allowed.

They've beaten the Chargers, 49ers, and Rams, so they've beaten some good teams. They also held the Lions to 20 points and almost beat the Bills. The good thing is that the Seahawks aren't going to take them lightly this time around.

Up to this point, the Cardinals have been playing with low expectations. Now that they're in first place, they're going to start to feel the pressure of being the hunted. I think the Cardinals and Kyler Murray choke under the pressure.

Seahawks 21, Cardinals 17.

A lot of positivity here. Clearly Jones has turned the D around. Can the O not shoot its self in the foot?

Continuing my unbroken picks for my team, odds against or not, I thought last game was a huge step forward for the D.

Believe they’ll need to spy Murray, and stuff Connor, while eliminating explosive plays. The team will also need to make some incremental progress with the running game. I predict we’ll see more defensive improvement and OLine improvement.

Vegas says Hawks -1, I say Seahawks 24 - Cardinals 20.

Tickets for the 12/8 game on Snubhub went from $35 to $85 in about a week...so with all the stupid fees and parking, $260 at least (Not counting gas and food). Not worth it...
