Seahawks football is back baby! It will be exciting to see what our new-look offense will have in store for us under the new OC. Will Russ cook? There will be kinks to work out as they get going so I am not expecting a 6-0 start by any stretch. I admit I haven't done my research on the Colts. Wentz looks to be playing. How effective will he be? Does our D stumble out of the gate or keep up their feverish pitch from the final games of 2020?

Since this is Game 1 I go with my heart here. I like the modern Seahawks new tendency to win on the road in early games. It's such a stark departure of the teams of yesteryear. Let's keep the streak going.

I think under Waldron were are going to be a top 5 offense this year. Our running game could be scary good and we are going to start off with 150+ yards on the ground vs Indy.

I don't believe in this pre-season and this is a championship caliber team

The Hawks SHOULD win this one comfortably with Indy’s injuries and all, but that’s just not the Seahawks way.
Hoping our new OC is different and actually wants to score early and often in the football games vs Seattle’s usual default mode of “feeling the defense out” for 2.5 quarters.

A loss wouldn’t shock me….. week one, old bad habits creep up, Pete’s horrible clock management, wasting timeouts on dumb challenges, zebras having a flag fest, etc etc etc.

With that being said, Hawks by 3 on a last second FG.

This is a tune up game for us on offense, timing and everything at game speed will be different then practice, I expect turnovers and a loss as we try to run the new offense.

Defense is respectable against the Colts, who our our corners? I don't expect them to be really tested though, Colts will run heavily I think to protect Wentz.
