There's an underlining fear some fans have that the Seahawks are overlooking the Cardinals for that ginormous matchup against the 49ers in the final week of the regular season for likely all the marbles. However, I don't get that feeling whatsoever from the team. Nobody knows better with what is at stake these final two games of the regular season than the players and coaches. Lose any of these final two games could cost the team a first-round bye let alone the division title. The Cardinals are not as bad as their record, but the line is 10 for a reason. Sure, any given Sunday and all of that, and division games tend to be the great neutralizer in the NFL, but with what is at stake this Sunday, and with the 12's ready to deliver a playoff atmosphere, the Cardinals just don't have what it takes for an upset against this team at this time of year. Last I checked Bruce Arians - who inexplicably owned us in Century Link - isn't their Head Coach.

Aros' Fearless Prediction: Seahawks 34 - Cardinals 23

Love these threads. Being that it's a divisional opponent that usually plays the Hawks very tough, I see a great battle. But the Hawks are very aware what is at stake and in front of them. Plus, after losing to the Cards 3 of the last 4 years at home (one on a missed FG by wide right Walsh) this team will not come close to taking this game lightly.

I think they pound the crap out of the rock, and go up top a few times, same formula that has helped them win 11 games. Regardless how it looks, getting that W is all that matters.

Hawks 27-20, with the Cards getting a TD late 4th quarter, and the Hawks running the clock out in the end, yet again.
Russ with 2 TD's, one to DK and one to Lockett, BOTH on long passes.
Carson with 100+, 3 forced turnovers and 4 sacks.

Must win vs a sub par team. This is the cards super bowl though. It's a home game and the biggest game of the year...well until next week. I hope we get out healthy and some of walking wounded return. Defense is banged up so dont be surprised if this is a shootout. Hawks win 37-31

I remember the 2013 game. Palmer got intercepted 4 times I believe and the Hawks could not score and lost.

If there is one thing we have learned it's that we still don't have our old HFA that we enjoyed for years. Hawks will be playing rookies on defense in key areas.

All that being said, the Hawks O should have a good day vs. that defense.....Let's hope for no more injuries.

Looks like the massive rain that is set to hit us today ends on Saturday night...Only showing AM showers in Seattle and partly sunny for the game. Thank God because all bets are off when it comes to Russ In The Rain.

AZ got the RB from Miami and he has gone off the last couple weeks. They are going to look a lot different than the 1st time we played them.

All we have heard all week is how overrated the hawks are, how lucky they are, and how they are the worst #1 seed in recent memory blah blah blah.

I would call myself a negative Nancy most of the time when it comes to picking games but mark my words, this week they click on all cylinders and stomp a mud hole into the Cards.

On NFL Radio yesterday, Pete indicated the Arizona game is the biggest game of the year with no mention of next week's game vs the 49ers. So he will make sure the team is not looking ahead. Seahawks will handle the rookie QB just fine at home.

This is the biggest game of the season as stated before. Hoping for no rain also. I think the Hawks pound the rock and we see Carson her his 100 yards but I think we see more of Procise or Homer as the game progresses. A lot of outside runs with their speed allowing us to control the clock and keep the Cardinals at bay. Defense will stifle the cards run game and have to keep a spy on Murray to keep him from eating up huge chunks of yards. A lot of bend don’t break. Come away with a W and then get ready to smack the 49ers!

The game cannot be a let down, the rookies filling in for injuries will be in an intense battle with a hungry Cardinals team. High scoring and Russ pulls some magic.

41-37 Hawks

Oh and the close pick will get a Seahawks.net sticker pack

37 - 17 Seahawks. No rhyme or reason, just the first thing that popped in to my head when I saw Aros prediction thread.

The Seahawks are going to lay the lumber down from the 2nd quarter into the start of the 4th quarter, then Carroll is going to implement order 66 in which all receivers are permitted to catch every pass uncontested until the ball is past our own 10 yard line. After being up 3 scores, the Hawks will end up winning 30-27 with the last play being an onside kick going out of bounds.

Thinking a wet sloppy game and thinking anyone the hawks flag as a 'game time decision' will be out getting healthy for the 9ers.

AZ has the worst defense in the league ; with a rookie QB & rookie HC . Murray is starting to hit his stride and shows why he was the 1st pick in the draft . AZ has Drake and of course Fitz and the D has Chandler Jones with 15 sacks . This is the game that the Hawks should dominate at home ; but I see an upset . I expect Wilson to be sacked more than once and the Hawks D won't be able to hold off Murray's legs and arm late in the game . 27-24 AZ
