I'll take the W, couldn't care less what the score is. Winning doesn't have to look a certain way. Especially after that crap show we saw on Sunday. :?

Given the incredible level of play we've seen from Russell so far, as long as they go into this game leaning on him against an AWFUL Cardinals defense, they should be fine. If they come out slow, trying to force the run with deep splash plays and 3 & outs, this could very easily be another close call going into the final drive. For a team who wants to be a running team, they've been by far one of the worst running teams in term of efficiency.

I'd like to see them come out aggressive, getting the ball out quick and actually have a lead in the first quarter instead of keep it close til late. It's been three straight weeks of waiting to go on the aggressive, maybe they finally wake up and say winning by 3 TD's at half time isn't a bad thing  Don't abandon the run but throw to open up the running game instead of the other way around.

Cards are throwing it 40+ times a game and since the D doesn't seem capable of creating turnovers so far, I imagine they'll move the ball with some success. Hopefully Murray takes some stupid sacks.

Last time we lost in AZ was 2012 if I remember right?

Last time we got out of there with no major injuries? Not since they opened the new stadium.

Poor Cardinals are going to be on the wrong end of the how we correct all our mistakes from last week and execute.

Not really. They haven't dominated any of the opponents yet. They've had their flashes, and I think that the offense is more than capable of rolling, but as a whole team there's something missing.

Maybe it's as simple as needing a true identity. Who are these guys? Who is going to step up and be that voice. Last year Frank Clark stepped up, but obviously he gone. Someone needs to lead.

And if the Hawks allow this game to be close, well, it wouldn't surprise me if they lost. (Would totally irk me). Bust out to a lead and keep the throttle down.

They are an offensive team, that can put points on the board. Wilson, Dissly, Lockett, Metcalf, Carson, & Penny. But coach don't like it. He is going to force them to play his way at the start of every game... until it fails, then it turns into Russell Wilson save us.

That is their identity, as dysfunctional as it sounds.

Saints wanted the game more, they deserved to win flat out. I don't have the stats to back this but Pete's teams don't have many back to back losses (at least late in the season).

OP is correct in the fact that AZ has nothing to lose and a loss here is basically sealing their fate. 0-4 is a death wish. They have some talent and everything I have seen from their Rookie QB so far shows me he is about as close to Russ as I have seen before. He may not have the Defense to compete yet but the kid can throw the ball around the field.

Arizona could definitely win, the only teams that can't this week are the Jets and 49ers. However, they are giving up 157 rushing yards per game and this is our chance to get the running game back on track. It's not the meaningless game that some think it to be as how well we are able to run and protect the football this week will say a lot about our chances the rest of the year.

Arizona should probably be the favorite for this game.
You have a money making opportunity if that's how you really feel. Seahawks are officially favored by 5 which leads to a 68% chance of winning historically.

Not buying what you are selling. We are gonna smoke that crap team in their house which we always do.

3-1. NEXT!

I think we will win, I just want 2 things:
1. To get ahead early and rest our starters the 2nd half
2. No injuries, not an easy task on that field.

#2 sounds good #1 isn't too realistic. The offense they run keeps them in games (see their week one comeback) and under Pete how often have we been able to rest starters?

And the Dolphins... Any given Sunday doesn't apply to that track wreck.

They are the certainly the least likely of the teams that play. However, the game is in Miami, they are playing a West Coast team at 10 AM PST, and the weather forecast is 85F with rain and 70% humidity. I think I'd actually take the Dolphins to cover this one.

Come on Hawks, just get this win, ugly or not. Then we come back on here and see the sky is falling posts even after they go to 3-1. All because they didn't win a certain way and/or blow them out.

Divisional games are always tough games.

For the team this L against the Saints has created suspicions as to the real character of the team. Pete will have them whipped up to play the Cardinals. Some rear ends will be kicked. These next two games are seriously critical and they cannot come out of them 2-3, and 0- in conference play.

The team will know how important this game is. This game will be a measuring stick.

Absolutely, usually a good battle with them. A divisional opponent desperate for a win, strange fluke things happen in that stadium too. I think we win by a TD, but would love to see a double digit win. Just not expecting it at all.

Seattle's a wounded animal after last weeks loss, licking their wounds. Pete will fire up this team and release the beast on Arizona. I know some are starting to have their doubts, but I think last weeks game was an eye opener for some. I'd hate to be Arizona right now as this teams got something to prove and show what we are capable of on the field. :snack:

You are correct, but if there's one thing we've shown since the end of the LOB and defensive dominance of 2012-2015, we always play down to our opponents and make these games far closer than they should be.

Look no further than game #1 against a terrible Bengals team that probably won't win more than 3-4 games this year. At home.

So I hope no one's expecting us to win easy in Arizona. This version of the Hawks has RARELY played a clean well prepared and executed game over the past 3-4 years. We always find a way to make things difficult with stupid mistakes and penalties.

I still like our chances, but it's not going to be easy.

I can't imagine anyone who truly knows football and/or the history of this matchup would think this game is going to be easy. It will be another snot knocker as always. Likely real ugly with the Hawks pulling off another ugly win.
Embrace the ugly, if it ends in a W, cool.

And in that statement lies the problem, before we had players that would fire things up chew ass and hold each other accountable.

That is what we need to develop.
