I have no doubt in my mine that Seattle would be able to handle additional sports teams. That article just makes me very upset.

Mariners, Seahawks, Sonics, NHL team, Sounders would be 5, I think those that like the Storm are a different breed of fan personaly, I could see that team taking the harder hit in fan support. If all teams are doing well and I mean hitting playoffs and such then everyone gets their seats filled.

It's when they suck AKA the Mariners at the moment is when options can pull a fan base farther away. Mariners had just over 10k last night I read. I think it keeps club ownership accountable by not being the only game in town.

Three types of lies: Little white lies, damned lies, and statistics. That article is dumb, dumb, dumb. Of course we could support "six" pro teams. Laughable that they even considered the Huskies in the equation before throwing them out, because virtually every other major college town would have jumped ahead of us in that aspect if they included them.

They don't call them the "big four" for just any old reason: NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB. Those are the big ones. MLS is gaining strength, but it ain't there yet. And anything else is bush league. I'm surprised they didn't count the local lacrosse teams and the lingerie league.

Too bad the Coyotes are doing so well. That's gonna garner support, and support is key to keeping teams where they are. They were one of the teams talked about regarding Seattle, and we have to have both NBA and NHL for this deal to happen.

Other articals said that expecting to have two professional teams ready to move at the same time is unlikely, they can do it with the one first mostly likely an NBA team.

One positive I got though is that its very near! hopefully this month so Hansen can go to the NBA and say "hey looky at seattle lookin all sexy n stuff"
