I am just excited to see them play a team on a national stage so the talking heads have no more excuses. I think this team will be ready to turn it loose. They are hungry to prove they belong. Could we lose? Sure. Detroit is a solid team. Do I expect us to be out classed? Not one bit. 4-0. No more *’s and no more “well look who they played”. This game is a huge opportunity to make a statement and Mike Mac will have them ready.

I had this game as our only loss up until our bye week. Lions have some injury problems as well and they are not playing lights out ball like I thought they would be by now. I'm changing my pick, we beat the Lions next Monday night and roll all the way to our bye undefeated.

Just to let you guys know the Hawks haven't opened up the playbooks yet. They're pretty much playing basic ball right now. They'll open up the playbooks a little bit on Monday and show the world who and what we are. You think coach Mike hasn't heard all the chatter about this team before the season started, he has.

Lions will be biggest test to date, they do have some quality players both sides of the ball
BUT we're 3-0 so let's get in there, keep them to under 20pts & we have a chance

I believe it is more likely the Lions win on Monday than not so I voted that means I "expect" we lose although the game could go either way. We are 3-0 but our only road game so far we needed OT to beat a Pats team that are far weaker than the Lions.

Monday night game, indoor stadium, Seahawks have a lot of injuries, an offense that has not played extremely well with a Swiss cheese offensive line.

This is why I voted no!

I'm pretty sure that we're going to beat the Lions. Not only that, I'm JACKED, AND PUMPED FOR THIS GAME. It's going to be a good one on paper. I cannot wait to see what this defense looks like against a good offense and a decent QB.. I feel like a little kid at Christmas, waiting to unwrap their present.

I fully expect us to beat the Lions. This will be a great barometer of how good our defense actually is. If are able to contain the Lions it only gets better from there as well with guys like Nowosu coming back later in the season.

In each of the last 2 seasons we have managed to outscore the "high-flying Detroit offense" in shootout games (BOTH times in Detroit), and in fact averaging 45 points per game scored over our last 3 contests.

Now we appear to have solved our defensive frailties while looking like we've picked up exactly where we left off offensively. Detroit don't look any better on the other hand

I have zero fear of the Lions. Maybe I should.

But I don’t.

Me neither. Goff isn’t the best at reading defenses and our new defense will likely give him a lot of problems. Not to mention, our secondary will be the best they have faced yet and our pass rush is beastly.

We’ve got to have answers to the line issues though and having a healthy K9 will be huge.

Why would anyone be expecting a loss?

We've owned the Campbell/Goff Lions in Detroit for the past two seasons, and they've only beaten us once in the past twenty years. We might lose, but there's no reason to expect a loss.

This is legit. I'm telling you the football God's have it out for Detroit when they play Seattle.

I will say this though, a lot of people keep saying the defense is sorted out, but if Murphy and Williams don't play, the Lions will be able to run on us. Be careful thinking the defense is under control because it isn't.

Is this a serious question? Expecting a loss? Damn :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Side note to Pitt: What the fans think has zero impact on the game or how it will turn out.

Nwosu will be back possibly and Hankins played pretty well in relief. Our depth isn’t as bad as you think it is. Obviously you want those guys out there but we aren’t dead to rights without them.

Wasn't sure about Nwosu, but that would be great if he can play.
