No, I don't and here's why:

Seahawks 2024 is a better than than Seahawks 2023. We handled them in 2023.

We have improved more than the Lions with way better defense.

Both teams are suffering from injuries.

I won't be shocked if we lose. It's the NFL and Any Given Sunday Monday.

But I certainly don't expect a loss. Their OL is beat up, ours is beat up/bad. Their defense is missing some key starters. Ours is missing some key starters.

I think their offence has great coaching but our defense has great coaching.

Geno and Goff are both very good QB's.

So I'm thinking it's a toss up and whoever plays better on the night wins. All I hope is that the refs don't interfere.

Waldron is getting no credit in this thread. I was his first critic on this site and pretty much the loudest, but he has had the Lions number as soon as he started drawing up plays against them. Even with dwindling Wilson we scored 51 against them in 2021. I was surprised that Waldron was hired again as a OC, but it wasn't shocking that it was in the NFC North with how well his offenses have performed against the Lions.

We have only one loss against them this century, which leads to confidence, but a lot of those were very close games. I love how a few of you are like, we owned them. Two straight one score games hardly constitutes owning them.

While I don't "expect" a loss, I do expect a bit of a reality check. Detroit is a far better team than the others we've faced so far. So, it'll be far closer than last week was, but I expect the Hawks to be competitive, at least.

Detroit is reeling from injuries. I think the Hawks have a good shot here.

Week 4 "Expert Picks" from The Athletic, not a single "expert" (including MSD) picked the Seahawks to win the game.

That surprised me. Even though I am on record as having this our first potential loss, I am wavering mightily, considering switching my pick.

Good. That's just the way I like it.

at the beginning of the season when picking our record, I had this as a loss. That's why I said loss. I'd put us as an even 50/50, injuries are piling up.

The Hawks are 6-0 the last 6 games including playoffs versus the Lions.

Book it?

Screw the Lions. I live in Michigan and their fans were so damn annoying all off-season, acting like because they had one decent season for once that they choked away with trash coaching in the NFCCG that they havnt been a punchline for five decades.

I'd happily surrender our two games to the Niners this year in return for a W in Detroit next Monday.
We have accumulated a scary good winning streak vs Detroit, so if law of average has any merit we're due to lose to them sooner or later. And I would NEVER happily surrender a win against Denver. :)

Its a game of their offense front 5 vs our defense front 7. Their star center is out for this game, our prized rookie Byron Murphy is out too,l. If we don't have Leonard Williams and Jerome Baker. Our defense front 7 will miss 3/7 starters. Their offense front 5 will miss 1/5.

So the key is the health of big cat and Baker.

Nwosu should be playing!

Hooray for Nwosu!

I’ll take a healthy Nwosu for the compensation of not having Murphy or possibly Big Cat….

Although, I think Big Cat, will play!

Go Seahawks!

Nwosu would be nice to have, but the value of Big Cat is not replaceable I. Our case, we don't have a legit backup to big cat
