Usually there are always 1 or 2 players that are not happy with the team they are on. Even on a superbowl team. Does anyone know of any Seahawks who are not happy being on the team and would rather be traded to a different team? I dont see how any player could be unhappy playing for the 12th man and being in the superbowl race could be unhappy. Thoughts?

Flynn? Wants to start and no way does he have a chance to do that here unless due to injury or a serious sophomore slump.

Flynn

I dont think hes unhappy. he wants to be a starter though. Its a fair reason. Not his fault the lottery of RW landed on SEA. But I do think he could easily start for at least 8 other teams right now. Something he most defiantly wants.

Flynn hasn't publicly said anything, but it's safe to assume he'd rather go somewhere else where he has a chance to start. So my guess is his agent is lobbying Pete and John to trade Matt.

Other than that, all quiet on the unhappy front so far.

I don't know if they are unhappy with being on the team or just unhappy with their contract, but I think contract disputes should be added to the list the OP is asking for. Like how Clemons was not happy with his deal last year and held out. He seemed to want to be here and be on the team, but his contract led to him being unhappy.

Not sure if there are any players who will be in that boat this year.

Do to the short order of FA, and most veteran player contracts nicely taken care of over the last 3 years, I'd say most people are pretty content with their current contracts. (dont care about rookies, its the rules now, they have to suck it up till pay day.)

I would guess that Flynn wants out, unless cashing a big check is more important than getting a shot to start.

The upside of the new CBA is it really only leaves room for veterans to bitch about contracts and wanting contract extensions. If this was 10 years ago, we'd have 8-10 2nd-4th year players complaining about ripping up their rookie contracts and wanting big money.

Here's a good website for tracking contracts

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/seattle-seahawks/

As you can see, really the only veterans that have expiring contracts that would be bitching about new one's are;

- Leroy Hill (2013)
- Anthony McCoy (2014)
- Allan Branch (2013)
- Ben Obamanu (2014)
- Breno Giacomini (2014)
- Michael Robinson (2014)
- Jason Jones (2013)
- Paul McQuistan (2014)

These are really the only players that we might want to lock up for 2-3 more years with new contracts, everyone else who's contract has expired or is expiring is expendable IMO..........and out of this list only Michael Robinson is a MUST renegotiate before his contract expires. I might add Breno and McQuistan to my MUST list after the draft.

Clayton said on his radio show yesterday he thinks there's a ninety pct chance the Seahawks trade Flynn before the season starts. Just too much money locked up in a backup and Schneid wants to draft a qb every year.

Yeah, there are. I hope there are 53 of them. Not for contracts, etc but for the fact they didn't end the 2012 season with a Superbowl trophy. Hopefully they play with chip on their shoulder next year and correct this unhappiness!

Um. . . Kam Chancellor is making peanuts and is eligible for renegotiation with the start of the new league year.

Golden Tate will also be eligible for a new deal this year.

I'd love to see both Tate and Chance extended ASAP.

I think the whole roster and staff are unhappy, after watching the end of the season 28 seconds was all that probaboy seperated them from the Super Bowl. They are gonna play pissed off next year 60 minutes.

I get extending Chancellor, Tate not so much. I don't think you extend above average receivers. Pro-bowlers yes.

Not that he's "unhappy" but I can't imagine that John Moffitt is overy stoked about his place in the pecking order at OG right now.

Nothing fazes Moffit unless you take his food away.

Just from what Moffit has said on the RRR, he cant believe hes even on the team. He seems to be taking the whole experience as a badass time regardless of playtime or contract.

Rice - not getting the ball enough.
Flynn - was just dealt a rough hand. I do think he's a legit starter.

Maybe:
Miller - not getting the ball enough/not playing to his strengths.
Cam. Starting, elite, and underpaid.
Tru - because he has been demoted so drastically. Probably as angry with himself as the team.

I agree with this list, JerHawk. Trufant has been demoted, but he's also declined as of late.

Miller has been used as a blocker up until that Falcons game where he went off, but he's got a big contract so hopefully he'll get more touches next year.

Rice and Wilson will also hopefully get some connection this season with a whole mini camp and training camp to work together.
