Bottom line: we are a RUN FIRST team. He would have been a ticking time bomb for us. Can you imagine him here after a loss in which he was only targeted 6 times and had 4 receptions for under 50 yards with no touchdowns? It wouldn’t have worked here for long. Let the LA Chargers trade Gordon for peanuts to the almighty Belichick and the Pats take the NFL by storm by creating an ultra-legacy team where all others have no choice but submit and defer to the XFL or a subpar league
