The Pats just joined the Chiefs with having one of the best offenses in the NFL . Brown will become a model Patriot and probably put the team back in the AFC championship game . As a HC & GM ; Belichick has no rival . Like him or hate him ; he knows how to put together winning football teams year in and year out .

Looks like not so much.

For HC & GM Belichick ...this is just another day at the office. Another player fired by Belichick . Big news. :irishdrinkers:

So easy for you to dismiss your own words thinking it won't reflect back on you.

Oh, well, it's not like anyone here takes your opinion without a grain of salt to begin with, anyway.

As much as I despise Brown and I am glad to hear his career may be over how the hell did Rapistberger get zip for all his serial sex assaults?

Great question.

Very rich people had a lot of money left to make off of him.

The rapist got a 6 game suspension reduced to 4 games.

The late Dan Rooney was running the NFL at that time and ol' Rog was nothing more than his puppet. That's why rapistberger got next to nothing in terms of suspension. Same reason Tomlin got even less (one draft choice taken away, big damn deal) for literally stepping on the field and tripping an opposing player that was about to score a TD against the stealers. Also the same reason the NFL conveniently "reset" the schedule so the Hawks had to go to pissburgh a year or 2 after XL* when the rotation was supposed to bring them out to Seattle. Also the same reason they almost never had to play the Saturday WC game during that period but always played the Sunday game so as to have the full 7 days of rest between the end of the regular season and said WC game.

Those are just a few of the examples of the sometimes subtle, sometimes not so subtle stealer advantages that Rooney made sure his team benefited from while he was alive and running the league. And that doesn't even take into account the fiasco of XL*.

That 2007 Pissburgh game still hacks me off. And they still made us go back there in 2011. Bullshit.

Yeah at that point in time I was lobbying to change the name of the team to Seattle Sacrificial Lambs.

Maybe NFL was going to investigate Kraft about tampering w/ Brown. So instead let AB go to avoid getting caught again. That is my guess.

If the investigation clears him of the alleged assault, I want him on the Seahawks with a cheap zero guaranteed money deal for the rest of the season.

If he acts out, simply cut him with no strings attached.

Might even get a comp pick out of it too.

I don’t want this clown anywhere near things I spend my money on. Unfortunately, there is always a chance that one of the teams is just stupid enough to pay him because he has talent. Morals are becoming obsolete.

AB is right. He shouldn't be losing his contract because of allegations.
