Not that the Refs in the Niners game made any difference but it's insane that this is the record the Lambs have with him officiating in their games in any capacity.

Then again....different seasons, different teams so that more than likely won't have any bearing on this game.

This is misleading. They're not 7-0 THIS YEAR with Martin as the ref. Several of the games mentioned aren't from this year, including a 26-20 OT win over the Hawks.

The Rams are a good team. What is their record with other officials? If you can't compare, then you're just accepting cherrypicked statistics.

I think there is an underlying concern of steering to help LA with NFL wanting the bigger market, more marketable offensive team in the SB amongst Hawk fans (to varying extent). I’m slightly wary; just would hate it to come down to a subjective call at the very end

Since we have an abundance of steelhead, it was the fact that Sam Darnold was our quarterback. If that was not the case then it was the fact that the Niners lost the last game.

Of course it's misleading.

I just said "different seasons, different teams". 🤷‍♂️

What he did in the past won't matter in this game.

Maybe not. Since Puka won’t stop publicly dissing the refs, could be the other way around.

Key Penalty Trends Since Week 15 (Late 2025/Early 2026):
  • Increased Frequency: The Rams, typically one of the NFL's least penalized teams, saw a noticeable rise in penalties during the final weeks of the 2025 season and into the playoffs.
  • Game-Specific Highs:
    • Week 15 (vs. Detroit): A notable number of penalties occurred.
    • Week 16 (vs. Seattle): Also saw increased flags.
    • Wild Card Game (vs. Carolina): A season-high 9 penalties for 83 yards, far exceeding their regular season norms (never more than 8 penalties).
  • Shift in Officiating: Some analysis pointed to a potential shift in how the Rams were being officiated, with more flags thrown in recent games compared to earlier in the season.

You didn’t include yesterdays game:

  • Rams Penalties: 2 (19 yards)
  • Bears Penalties: 3 (24 yards)

Thanks. There’s still a clear penalty trend post Puka however. Could it all be nothing? Yes. Would it be reasonable to see it as something? Maybe.

That just tells me that this game may be EVENLY officiated now as opposed to how it would've been if Puka didn't open his big, stupid mouth and criticized the refs.

Week 15 vs Detroit- 2 penalties for 8 yards as a team… I wouldn’t call that a “notable number of penalties” or whatever ChatGPT spit out… Also I saw puca holding db’s on almost every outside run last night and never got called (1 for 5 yards as a team)

I’m not trying to rain on your parade but those aren’t numbers anywhere near the statistical trend your AI told you about

If there was any steering going on, it would be in favor of the Seahawks, who are one of the most popular teams, not the Rams who have one of the smaller fan bases. Ask the Rams how they feel about the Zachward pass.

The Lions game was 2 days before Puka ran his mouth. He ran his dumb mouth after that game was history, but was discussing week 15 along with the general season on an podcast. And I don’t want to discuss Puka anymore. He is an idiot

thats just fans being butt hurt though...the Zachward pass was correctly called and there is no dispute of that (outside of Rams fans)
