Over the last couple of seasons our home field has not been an advantage. Frankly, we sucked at home. Now some of that was scheduling. Like last year it seemed like every home game was against a playoff bound team. Can't use that excuse any more.

We're currently 5-2 at home this season. Thurs is our last home game. We have guaranteed a winning record at home this season, but 5-3 would hardly be considered 'dominant.' 6-2 sounds a whole lot better. Time to re-establish that Seattle is not a place any team should want to come to play.

LFG!!!

The interesting thing to me about this game in relation to HFA is that the betting line generally gives 3 points to the home team. In theory, on a neutral field, we win the previous game against the Rams. I know, it's not like it's a free 3 points given to the home team, but it suggests that we should be able to win this next game handily. Especially if someone doesn't hand the ball over 4 times.....

And please don't bring this up to me in week 18. I'm planning to watch our Hawks smash the whiners in their house. :p

Momentum and the media narrative is all with the Rams. No one is even talking about the fact Seattle were by far the stronger team in the first matchup. The fact we have stalled offensively often in the games since then has reenforced that narrative. I think having us as underdogs is a slightly odd line I must admit.
