Or maybe he doesn't trust his defense to hold the opposition and get the ball back. It all depends on your POV.McVay trusts his offense and plays to win..I respect that

Fortuitous bust, really?
Did they really "luck into it" McVay, or did you get outschemed by Macdonald?
I think he was outschemed and was a little butt hurt after the game.

That's why it's so easy to love to hate the pointy haired LA pretty boy genius. What an absolute dewsh. Enjoy Cancun, spikey hair boy. Also, feel free to piss off.
Why doesn't he just come out and say "Nobody is smarter than me, so there is no possible way this wasn't pure luck"
It's all good! We're just stacking info and truth together like the team stacks wins.To add to this, read this article about D Law, IN HIS OWN WORDS, really reading the situation. It wasn't luck, it was a vet being f'n savvy!
Some of you nailed the real reason how this worked!
@HawkFreak. Sorry if I usurped. I can't see the full article from your link.

A lucky mistake? Seattle Seahawks DE disputes McVay's claim
Seattle Seahawks star DeMarcus Lawrence disputed Rams coach Sean McVay's notion that Seattle's fourth-down stop in the NFC title game was a "fortuitous bust."sports.mynorthwest.com
GemCitadamusNgl…MMs reaction and calling out ‘END’ right before the play leads me to believe that it was indeed a ‘fortuitous bust’.
I think the ‘bust’ part is a bit harsh. D-Law sensed that Love was initially beat. Things that happen during a game aren’t always schemed.
Additionally, who’s to say D-law wouldn’t have got to Stafford or tipped the pass?
It would be interesting to hear Tanks side. He’s a vet…and smart. I have a feeling that nothing was ‘busted’. Tank knew Stafford wasn’t running it in from that far out and made a savvy, veteran move.
Definitely had to do with DLaw's vet experience. I'm also guessing the coaching, gameplanning and preparation had something to do with helping him to be in the right position to be able to recognize it quickly and respond to it.Here is the link: https://www.thenewstribune.com/sports/nfl/seattle-seahawks/article314504883.html
So it was not a genius design nor a busted coverage. It was D-Law's instincts.
Probably. So assuming that Love did his job and not get beat, does DLaw continue with the rush and not drop in coverage?
some times you have to be really good to just be in position to get luckyWhat? You don't like being lucky? As one of my old coaches used to say, "It's better to be lucky than to be good."
4th and goI've said it a thousand times, or at least it feels like it................why are so many coaches allergic to just taking points? It has cost teams countless games. It makes NO sense to me and never will.
