I don’t like Rodgers one bit but if he comes at a Russell Wilson Steelers type discount and the mentality plus game plan focus to not try to be prime Rodgers but more of old Tom Brady/Peyton Manning offensive point guard type that can dink and dunk and just eat in the Red Zone.
I honestly wouldn't be opposed to that, it would put the Seahawks in the driver seat to go make some splashes. If they could go out and double down on the O-Line and add some real juice like OC Dalman and OG Fries. Then maybe get a 2nd round pick and WR Q. Johnston from the Chargers for Metcalf. Then snag Cooper Kupp if he’s released, all of a sudden you got the recipe of a ball control hopefully run dominant modernized West Coast offense.
An opportunity to grab a Zrabel type OL that fill the other guard spot but can kick out to OT if needed and the ability to develop a young QB by proxy whether Rodgers takes the time to help mentor or not.
And the Seahawks being off the radar away from a lot of noise and spotlight with a more docile media circus kind feels like this would be be a perfect place for Rodgers who seemingly has come off in recent years like he wants to be low key and introverted in the public eye. So this could be a place where he can just put his head down and work and not feel as vilified or burdened with the chaos and expectations that comes with his legacy.
Edit: missed that DK was traded
