That game will be the niners superbowl.

If the 9ers do win, it will be absolutely hilarious to watch 9ers fans and Seahawks fans suddenly taking on each other's scripts from the entire last year.

Oddly, if it weren't for utilitarian reasons of the wild card race, I think the hilarity of watching Hawks fans and 9ers fans suddenly jumping ship and using the exact same arguments that they've made fun of opposing fans for using for the past year is really the primary driver for me in hoping for a 9ers win. The irony of it all will be nothing if not awesome. :D

You just summed up why getting emotions ahead of brains is silly.

THe game next week will be a real test for our offense. 20 points should be the winning mendoza line, though lately I have begun to suspect 14 might be plenty. Seattle will be in for an all night test with your run game, it is critical to the Niners to get it going, otherwise our secondary will just hang back and sit on a couple of passing things Kaep does well with. Your offensive line seems pretty beat up, though.

You haven't played the Saints yet and the 49er hate page is already three pages long. You guys worried?

You should be. You really should. Because next week's game will be epic.

I still think the Hawks win the division. We've blown far too many games, and just don't see a team as good as this one dropping three games in December.

But a rematch in the NFC Championship Game will be something to look forward too indeed.

34. 19. 13. 13. 3.

The law of diminishing returns doesn't far to go.

It will probably be the Seahawks superbowl too so basically we'll be looking at a superbowl battle between 49ers vs Seahawks

Wrote a long response to it but it was gobbled up by a poor internet connection.

In any case, the gist was I'm not too sure Seattle will be tested that much by the 9ers run game, as winning the last two weeks has masked the fact that their run game has been very ineffective. With the line shuffled now I don't see that changing, and the 9ers offense working when the run game isn't working is pretty anomalistic (these last two weeks have been weird). Basically, if I had to put money on it, I'd bet on Seattle winning, but I think it's as likely that Seattle wins big as the 9ers win closely. With the problems the 9ers are having right now (in addition to missing their top two pro-bowl lineman and their top two corners) I'm expecting the Hawks to probably take this one (one of the reasons I was glad the Cards dropped a game to the Eagles).
