I think Colin Kapweroidheosa127129 is a fraud. The dude locks onto his first receiver and apparently forgets the memo on checkdowns and progressions during a play. Yet, Davis, Boldin and now Crabtree bails him out brilliantly on a high percentage of plays.
I've been saying that for the past year and a half. I mentioned that going in to that 42-13 whooping last year. In that Preview, I pointed out the following ...
Here are the distribution of passes since Colin Kaepernick took over as the starting QB ...

TE Vernon Davis | 14 | 142 | 1 | 13.59% |
WR Mario Manningham | 13 | 171 | 0 | 12.62% |
WR Randy Moss | 10 | 127 | 1 | 9.70% |

The offensive numbers since Kaepernick took over are very revealing.
Crabtree has been a whopping 1/3 of the 49ers passing offense – even more of a go to option than when Alex Smith was this team’s starting QB.

Kaepernick has shown this tendency to really lock in on his #1 Read for awhile now.
Here's another major difference between Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick that I figured out long before there was data to back it up -- with Kaepernick, you WANT to flush him out of the pocket and make him run. If you do that, he is pretty much relegated to the role of runner ... not PASSER. Greg Cosell noted exactly that last year ...
QB's Inside The Pocket Vs. OUTSIDE the Pocket Stats (2012)...
Total QBR Inside the Pocket ...
Russell Wilson ... 77.0
Colin Kaepernick ... 83.0
Total QBR Outside the Pocket ...
Russell Wilson ... 62.5
Colin Kaepernick ... 15.6

See, if you flush Russell Wilson outside the pocket and make him run ... he STILL is a Pro Bowl Level QB, as he can throw and throw accurate deep balls even at a near dead sprint. Kaepernick -- not so much. To give you guys a comparison of just how bad of a passer Kaepernick is outside the pocket ... John Skelton (remember him with the Cardinals) had a Total QBR of 21.2.
Those flaws right there are what give me confidence that the Seahawks will go in to Candlestick next week and lay the wood.
