Been awhile since I watched one. Shoot, I was at 49 and watched about a minute and headed to the bathroom and concession stands. But I did meet and get guitar picks from Jerry Cantrell before the game. So that didn't suck.

I assume it's b/c millions of SB watchers don't follow football as it's a cultural event and the HF show is entertainment for them.

I'm more of a Good Groundhog fan myself.
Surprised they didn't go with Hilarious Hippo. Those guys rock.
Personally, I couldn't give a rip about the halftime entertainment. I haven't watched a SB performance since Janet Jackson's wardrobe failure, and even then, I was busy refilling my plate with chips and salsa and emptying my bladder.
This has become a hot topic on social media with a lot of political implications as Bad Bunny has made no bones about his preferences. But knowing the forum's policy about politics, I won't go there.
But I will say that it appears to me that the league is trying to appeal to more Hispanic viewers. Could it be that they have an eye on Mexico City as an expansion city?
