Totally!

However, we do need to wonder why he'd put himself in this position knowing he'd be tested and would likely get caught.

To me the situation is very sad as there is little doubt the player has exceptional talent but many demons., and the demons won again.

Watson, a seventh-round pick out of Florida State in 2010, has played for six teams during his career, most recently spending the past two years with the San Francisco 49ers. When the Seahawks signed Watson earlier this year, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said the hope was that Watson could add something to the pass rush while also contributing on special teams.

“We’re hoping to give him a chance to give us some rush on the edge,” Carroll said. “He has been a really accomplished teams guy, too. He can give us some additional boost there.”
In addition to signing Watson, the Seahawks also made an addition to their practice squad, signing rookie linebacker Sutton Smith, a sixth-round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers out of Northern Illinois. Smith, who has spent time on the practice squads of both Pittsburgh and Jacksonville this season, was the Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and an All-American in 2017 after leading the nation in tackles for loss with 29.5 to go along with 14 sacks. Last season Smith recorded 15 sacks, 26.5 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles.[urltargetblank]https://www.seahawks.com/news/seahawks-sign-linebacker-dekoda-watson[/urltargetblank]

Josh Gordan is of course suspended.

Thanks Jville!!!

How disappointing the timing of this suspension is to the team. Fortunately the team has a capable young player in Mone to replace Woods.

Numerous sources are reporting the Seahawks have re-signed RBs- Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin to the team after placing Chris Carson and CJ Prosise on IR. This has a feel of desperation to it in a truly desperate situation, but if nothing else returns a fan favourite in Lynch. It's back to the future for two old workhorses.

I have to think the team is far from being finished here with roster moves as there are other options out there that may be helpful depthwise. It looks to be a situation where their experience on the roster gave them a leg up on other possibilities.

Although there is no official source about these two additions I will add them anyway.

Updated.

Thanks Jville!

Updated.

Interesting player, he has certainly been around after being undrafted in 2017, Denver, Oakland, and Dallas. Is listed as a big DE but I suspect Pete sees him as DT. Others have seen some ability worth checking out.

Time will tell

Thanks Kitsap!

Updating. I will add this player to the PS even though the corresponding player to be released is unknown.

There will be other roster moves with eventual assigning of Kendricks to IR.

Wonder who got released from the PS?

Thanks Kitsap!

I am up to date.

I suspect the team will slow play the Jaron Brown MCL, and Michael Kendricks ACL situations as they have used their 2 IR recall opportunities.

Can't see Jaron Brown being re-signed after this season so we may have seen the last of him.

I read somewhere this morning the comp picks have been announced and the Seahawks will have 4 comp picks, a 3rd, a 4th, a 6th, and a 7th.

When I find the link I will post it.
