The team has him listed on their roster page as a FS. He's 6'2" -210 so I doubt he's a DE.

Thanks Kitsap, this situation seems a tad odd.

It is curious to me that with just one TE healthy he hasn’t been activated so it must be a situation where there is some debate as to which player will get released to allow Dickson to be added.

This position group once thought to be strong and deep is not so anymore.

So ends the mystery. This is a slightly surprising move but Taylor was simply awful against the Niners. We shall see what defensive changes this brings and whether Diggs or Amadi will be the NCB.

Probably better pay than working at Target or some similar job. It'd not surprise he has a part time job that allows him to do this.

Nothing wrong with wanting to chase the dream as there is a shot of him finally hooking up with a team and making enough to give him a head start on the rest of his life.
