Florio calls Sherman a "cheap shot artist"

Not even a subjective call. The Seahawks corners have been coached to make these hits, and coached well. It was a completely legal hit and takes that receiver out of the play as a blocker. I believe Pete Carroll talked about this when Browner made a similar hit on Greg Jennings with no flag...

Percy Harvin DNP thurs & friday

Pete said they were going to work him hard then rest him, I don't see what everyone is being all crazy about. They are taking it day to day, if he was re injured they would say so. Toughen up hawk fans Lol wow

    Tate is just a poser....

I have no problem with his antics as long as they don't hurt the team. Anyone that has been in competitive sports knows that you have to get the adrenaline going and that doesn't go away when the play is over. It's not easy to push that button then let go. To add to that if you have seen any...

Jerry Rice Versus Richard Sherman Rant

Sherman isn't setting the world on fire as of late? Lol he is tied for #1 with 4 interceptions and most QB's won't even throw to his side of the field. I do agree with you on Earl though, he also has 4 interceptions. hmm :141847_bnono:

Jerry Rice Versus Richard Sherman Rant

That was one of my points, it is nearly impossible to know what corners today are capable of without their respective safeties. I guess a good question would be how good would Deion Sanders have been if he had Earl Thomas backing him up. Wow... I'd like to see that.

Jerry Rice Versus Richard Sherman Rant

To be honest I don't think Rice or Calvin Johnson would do much against Sherman in today's game with todays rules, with Seattle safeties at temperatures from 65-75 degrees, no rain and if all players were healthy..... lol There are too many factors to weigh this objectively, all you can see is...

Lol, I love Football Outsiders... (Fail Mary-related)

You explain why it matters about the feet touching in your own post. The end of the play is when Golden Tate's feet both touch the ground. Touchdown!

Harvin's Return, "just around the corner"

I don't think there is a player in football that would choose to have hip surgery over playing football. Lol Having read extensively about the injury, he made the right decision.

Let's Start Kearse Over Sydney Rice

I would agree with most of that except Sidney Rice is on target for under 500 yards which means he'll most likely be the third highest production receiver at a 9.7 million cap hit. What bugs me about that is that it will be just under average for Sidney for his 7 year career, injured or not. If...

Let's Start Kearse Over Sydney Rice

Let's Start Kearse Over Sydney Rice

This just isn't true... He's been rotated in for Rice at the 1 spot for a few of his catches. He is making catches against the same CBs as Rice and the others.

For those of you bagging on Rice

I doubt he breaks 500 yards this year and that's not worth a 9.7 million cap hit..... No matter how you cut it.

PFF ranks our O-line 31st in the league

I agree with your O-line analogy but you are contradicting your first post! Obviously you don't have NFL rewind because if you did you would see that Baldwin and Tate are open quite often but that Russ Wilson is already on the run because the O-Line fell apart in 1.5 seconds... Most of the time...

PFF ranks our O-line 31st in the league

So all of us our idiots and Pete Carroll is an idiot for thinking our O-Line is the problem? Lol! When Russ Wilson has 3 seconds in the pocket he is deadly accurate. He doesn't get that long with our O-Line without major leakage, ever. The only wide receiver that is horrible right now is Sidney...

    Is Russell Wilson regressing?

This is a team sport.... The O-Line is obviously not the same, and Sidney Rice is not the same. With those two factors alone I am surprised Russ Wilson's numbers aren't in the toilet! As PC would say, we are seeing what a tremendous athlete RW really is here. The slump in RW's stats is not on RW.

    TELLING IT LIKE IT IS

RW ran for over 100 yards and took some pretty big hits. I think that probably had a bigger affect on him then just being out of the pocket.

    TELLING IT LIKE IT IS

Great post, thank you. I agree with most of your post except that Kearse was not just ok, he was exceptional! A blocked field goal and another amazing touchdown pass. He should at least be sharing snaps with Rice..... His production per snap has to be top of all our receivers.

    My two gripes...

We are paying Rice $9.7 million this year against the cap and he only has two seasons with more than 484 yards in his 7 year career. How is that possible? How can so many people defend him for so long and why are people surprised with his lack of production? He is on pace for 442 yards this year...

Hawks not the best in the league at this moment

We have the second biggest point spread for the season next to KC and a tougher schedule. I'd say there is no better measurement of who's best "right now". And it's not Denver, there not even second! But to have a good shot at going to the Super Bowl we're going to have to have most of our...
