I have no problem with his antics as long as they don't hurt the team. Anyone that has been in competitive sports knows that you have to get the adrenaline going and that doesn't go away when the play is over. It's not easy to push that button then let go.

To add to that if you have seen any of his off the field interviews, the guy is very humble and wants more than anything to keep playing football in Seattle. I think we are going to see a real chemistry start to form with this group of receivers, somewhat like we see now with our secondary. These are all young guys with something to prove, great stuff! Bring on Harvin!

Great pass, amazing catch. PAY that man!

Losing Rice was a blessing in disguise. More football to Tate, Baldwin and Kearse, please.

Tate might be my favorite player on the team. I'll take his 'childish antics' over driving around drunk at 7 am or beating up his girlfriend any day. I think sometimes we're wayyyyyy too critical of guys who have fun playing the game and celebrate too much or 'taunt' too much even though they play their asses off and are acting right off the field.

Help the team win, act like a man out in the world, and I don't really give a crap if you wanna be overly expressive on the field. It's a game.
Well, he DID break into a TopPot Donuts once. But ya, I love Tate and am ok with his 'antics' that have yet to cost us anything.

I think that was a genius guerrilla-marketing campaign by Top Pot.

It's getting to the point where if he doesn't make at least one spectacular play a game, he's getting shut out. And it's really hard to shut him out when he's also fielding punts.

He's never going to be a 10 catch a game guy, but I don't see our offense going that way consistently.

I could tell he was special even last year and I think he could have huge numbers on a different offense but he fits ours perfectly! I think Russel really likes to spread the ball out in general to get everyone involved, but more often than not it's Tate who has made the huge plays this year.

Kearse has been a pleasant surprise as well! Great receiver who can really make some crazy catches, but mediocre punt returner in my opinion.

And Doug Baldwin is pretty crazy good as well! Seems very reliable and also can make insane catches.

And Zach Miller seems pretty underrated to me, seems like he has great hands and him and Wilson have pretty great chemistry.

I wish we had the Sydney Rice from last year, but I think we'll be OK really excited to see if Harvin can live up to his potential here.

But ya back to the topic of this thread... Golden Tate is a special athlete! If you carefully watch all the little subtle moves and adjustments he made on that huge punt return, damn he is crazy good! Insane vision and awareness on the field and great instincts. Dude appears to be strong as hell for his size too, with crazy quick feet and excellent footwork.

He has behaved himself the past two weeks. So can't complain too much. Think Pete talked to him about it more than just what we saw on the side lines.

It hasn't gone unnoticed. I think RW has probably been bending his ear as well. He's been all business last couple of games

My thoughts exactly. I've got no problem how he acts. I do have a big problem with the NFL not allowing it. It's truly becoming a No Fun League.

I can not wait to see Tate and Harvin on the field... Pick your poison with those two. Both can break tackles, make defenders look foolish and both are capable of taking it to the house from anywhere on the field. Harvin and Tate should also free up Willson and Baldwin a lot.

If Tate is not resigned. There is something SERIOUSLY wrong with this world!

If you put that picture up with the one angle from the "Fail Mary" showing Tate had the ball first... Even more evidence he caught it.

I love how Irvin and Sanders call him the MODERN DAY Hines Ward.
Hey, that's what *I've* been calling him! I beat them to it, I swear...

Pound for pound, he probably is one of the most physical receivers in the NFL.

They are starting to comp him to Hines Ward. I can accept that. I would be shocked if he isn't resigned but it really is up to Tate.
