I don't want him in the Ring of Honor, I don't want him to Retire a Seahawk, I don't want him to ever raise the flag. Thank you for helping get us a Trophy... screwing a chance at a second one. but you had pedestrian receivers making you look amazing and a generational RB, with a generational defense on a low salary. Second one should have been easy.
Im over it...Its good I still have that jersey somewhere.. I like Others said above.. and Mike had said... Do not care.
He may eventually get into the HOF.. but not first ballot... might take a few years depending on how quality works out over the years
Edit: For mention.. a lot of our ring of honor members (outside of zorn) only played one year or two years with another team after us...
Did not play for another NFL team after Seattle: Steve Largent, Kenny Easley, Cortez Kennedy, and Walter Jones all ended their playing careers with Seattle.
7 Seahawks Ring of Honor players to play for other teams after Seattle:
Jim Zorn, Dave Brown, Curt Warner, Jacob Green, Dave Krieg, Matt Hasselbeck, and Shaun Alexander. -- None exceeded 2 years except Zorn.
For HOF
Apparently : Pro Football Reference’s QB Hall of Fame Monitor -- Wilson
94.82, just below the “around average modern-era inductee” mark of 100.
| QB | Pass yards | Pass TD | Rush yards | Pro Bowls | MVP / All-Pro | Super Bowl résumé |
|---|
| Russell Wilson | 46,966 | 353 | 3,749 | 10 | 0 MVP, 0 first-team All-Pro | 1–1 in Super Bowls |
| Fran Tarkenton | 47,003 | 342 | 3,674 | 9 | 1 MVP, 1 first-team All-Pro | 0–3 in Super Bowls |
| QB | Why comparable | Why different |
|---|
| John Elway | 51,475 yards, 300 TDs, 2 Super Bowls, 9 Pro Bowls | More yards, fewer TDs, bigger “carried franchise” narrative, two late titles. Hall bio notes 300 passing TDs plus 33 rushing TDs. |
| Warren Moon | 49,325 yards, 291 TDs, 9 Pro Bowls | Similar yardage, fewer TDs, no Super Bowl, but had the CFL legend piece and was one of the most prolific passers ever when he retired. |
| Terry Bradshaw / Bart Starr | Similar Hall-of-Fame-monitor neighborhood to Wilson | Not statistically comparable at all; they are in because of dynasty/championship legacy. PFR’s QB Hall monitor places Wilson near Bradshaw and Starr numerically, but that reflects résumé weighting, not raw passing stats. |
