There are things about RW to be grateful as a fan. But HE didn't want to be here in the end...and it ended badly IMHO. I don't wish to sound to vindictive.....but I for one ain't feeling it. When he left I was happy to see him go....VERY HAPPY about the trade. For me, in the simplest terms, it was "go away and stay away", and I still feel that way.

Not at all. Everyone has their own opinion and entitled to such. Can’t blame some people for hating him for his lack of respect to the city and organization as a whole. JS built this team of the exact opposites of Russ. I’m fine with whatever they do but I want him nowhere near this team ever again. I speak for myself when I say I’m not angry or bitter. He wanted out, he got out. I consider him the best QB in franchise history, but I'm not making any special concessions for him at this point. I honestly don't even care if he gets the ROH, although I assume he likely will.

Besides, he announced his retirement already. Either he didn't want to, got rejected by the team, or was too afraid to ask.

I don't want him in the Ring of Honor, I don't want him to Retire a Seahawk, I don't want him to ever raise the flag. Thank you for helping get us a Trophy... screwing a chance at a second one. but you had pedestrian receivers making you look amazing and a generational RB, with a generational defense on a low salary. Second one should have been easy.

He may eventually get into the HOF.. but not first ballot... might take a few years depending on how quality works out over the years

I feel like this is a beyond just JS choice... How does it work out if we sell the team before it happens? Do they do it just to do it.. and piss off X percent of the fan base. Plenty of people are very sour on RW and will always be. His evolution was something to write in Movies (But not in a good light haha)

No. And I highly doubt Russ would ask for a 1 day to retire here. He has elevated himself above the Seahawks and the city of Seattle far too much for that. In his mind, he and his wife are celebrities; people and organizations chase them, not the other way around. And if/when the team inducts him into the ROH, it will make me want to puke. "Honoring" a saboteur is utterly sickening.

Nope. The day may come that all is forgiven, but now is not it. If I were John I’d be focused on the future…not the guy that went behind my back to ownership to get me fired 5 years ago.

How would you all feel if he did it to you? John just proved his worth in spades to the organization after Russ left…how’d things work out for Russ? Mr. Unlimited and his 5-6 Super Bowls?
