I knew I was noticing the striking similarities, watching Emerson's recent HR swings:

I see the kid standing taller with little knee flex unlike Colt's
stance, it may be because Colt is shorter than the Kid, the
finish look's similar, however.

Before seeing anything on social media on this observation, I noticed the uncanny similarity as it happened. This is all it was, not a "Oh gosh, Emerson is Griffey reincarnated" or anything like that.
What a trip that this kid is 20 years old. He does NOT look like a rookie most of the time, imo.
Swing still looks really similar. Pretty swing. That's what matters.
