I’m throwing in the towel. Yet another wasted season cheering on this lame ass poverty franchise.

Tough game and series loss.
Gilbert pitched a gem. Bats got a few hits, but not when they needed them. Bullpen injuries hitting us hard.
Not sure what the final hits with RISP number is, but it is far too close to zero.

Cal is hitting .160 with a 35% K rate and a .580 OPS. For reference, the league average OPS is usually around .720. It really can't be overstated just how bad a .580 OPS is.

We see fair weather fans on here every year, it doesn't surprise me, I've seen
so many bad years it doesn't affect me like some.
The season is still early, I think they will be making some moves to spark things up.

Guys chill out. Seasons not over. This is a team with tons of talent in the line up and coaching staff. The team chemistry is there it's just a matter of time. AL favorites still in my book. It's still early we'll get em next time. This franchise has proven through out the years they'll break through. Tridents up.

You are insufferable.. you aren't a true fan .... "throwing in the towel" as you say... an eighth of the way through the season.. Im not sure you've been watching baseball long.. as all of your takes are literally whiny ass posts.. more than most, and not grasping a 162 game season. We can bemoan certain performances and then critique certain approaches.. but saying you are throwing in the towel now... means you need to keep yourself in California
I use to think Crizilla was insufferable.. but he actually makes logical thought out posts.. you just.. cry.. complain and assume you could do the better job with literally zero experience.... all in the START of the season.

You’re right. I bring no positive qualities to this board, much like in real life. I’m an all around failure with no friends and no prospects. My career is non existent, working a dead end job to support myself.
So I come onto this forum and bitch about the Mariners because it makes me feel better about myself for a few minutes, until I get called out for it. I appreciate your candid honesty and wish you the best.
