Reading everything you idiots are doing or not doing tonight to take my mind off of tomorrow..
I think I'll have a glass of Bourbon followed by a sleeping pill sometime later to get me through the night.
I'm a resident of the Tri-Cities, too, and although I'm not a hockey fan, I once went to a game on a comp. After looking at the rosters, I came to the conclusion that the team nickname "Americans" had to be one of the most oxymoronic names/mascots I've ever seen: Every single player on the Tri-Cities roster was a Canadian.Waiting for our beloved Tri-City Americans to face off against the Penticton Vees and drinking a local IPA. (Yes, that's pink ice you see. Don't ask.)

Funny you mention that; I recently looked up a couple players on the roster and was floored that all but like 2 guys are Canadian. I think you could make a strong argument that we should play both national anthems at every game.I'm a resident of the Tri-Cities, too, and although I'm not a hockey fan, I once went to a game on a comp. I wouldn't mind it if they played the Canadian national anthem at Seahawks games, too. There's a ton of 12's that live in Canada, we have marketing rights in the country, a 12 North Bar alliance, et al. It would be a great way to recognize our friendship with them. They are very much a part of the 12's. At the very least, they could have a game dedicated to our fans in Canada.Funny you mention that; I recently looked up a couple players on the roster and was floored that all but like 2 guys are Canadian. Nice of you to say but we are of essence..in a cold war state right now between the two countries. Doubt that ever will happen. Think they used to have a cdn fan game where they did do the anthem at one time.I wouldn't mind it if they played the Canadian national anthem at Seahawks games, too. I agree. I worked with the Canadian P-3 guys when I was in the service and it seemed like all the BC guys were Seahawk fans. My grandparents retired to Oroville back in the 90's and we met many BC'ers who were all basically a cross between Washingtonians and Alaskans. At least to me, I've always considered western Canadians fellow countrymen.I wouldn't mind it if they played the Canadian national anthem at Seahawks games, too. Either seahawks fans or bandwagon for teams like the chiefs pats etc when they win. I expect a few bandwagoners after we win today..I agree.
