It's a beautiful thing to see someone having worked at a profession their whole life finally master it before your eyes, way to respond Riq, giving the exceptionally talented dude a pass, this time... lol

Riq has certainly bounced back this year. Haven't heard his name called in a while, which is great for a defensive back.

Haven't noticed his lapses and blunders of late. I never wrote him off, but I was concerned about him, and wondered if he had a chance at a second contract and continued play with us beyond this season. Perhaps the overall culture of the team matured and wizened him up. Just good to see his improved performance, which we'll be needing this weekend.

In all fairness to the OP, it appears they made this thread immediately after the week 1 loss where he legit played like a bum.
That's the problem with resurrecting old posts from many months ago. The whole board was kind of down after that loss, and especially since it was a division loss, things were a little dicey at the time. Nice to reflect, though, on how far the team, and Riq Woolen, have come since then.

Yeah, some threads are brought back without much of any context, which is a bit disingenuous.

I would bet big money on it.

There was a stretch where he obviously had his head up his arse and was mid AF and was "on the trading block". Good on the young man for responding and getting his act together (it's rare to see that these days).

It's still fun to look at later. Even if you were one of the people calling him out. Hey, being wrong is cool, if it means the team is better.

When Riq was called out he bought into the method and gave up the bullshit. All good.

Boneheaded play but what could you possible say to warrant a flag? Horrible watching officials dictate a game.
