I believe this thread should stay in the main forum for today if that’s okay with the mods.

Question: Who do you want our Seahawks to host in the NFC Championship game next weekend? Bears or Rams?

My vote: Rams

I think it would really get these guys fired up to play the Rams. And it seems the more Macdonald becomes familiar playing against a team, the better he adjusts to them and their scheme.

At the end of the day I just want to get to and win the SB. Divisional games are usually tricky, yesterday excluded:) No one remembers who you beat to win it just that you did. I would be a lot more confident against the Bears, and the Rams are cheap shot artists like the Niners.

Also, I think Aros’s soon to be son in law ;) is a Bear fan so let’s go Bears.

While I do agree with your assessment on Mac and the foe-you-know strategy, I voted bears since I always prefer to see the lambs losing. Reality is I am completely impartial on which victim goes down next. Also, my inability to root for the lambs will no doubt lead to me rooting for the bears so there is that.

My head wants Chicago, my heart wants LA. The Rams offense is really good and Stafford has really earned my respect this year. They worry me. Now, nothing would be better than going through SF and LA to punch our ticket to the dance, but the Rams know the Seahawks very well. I voted Chicago, I just want to get to the big game.

Don’t care. But seeing Williams with all his off script stuff, would be fun vs our D. We will sack him 6-7 x and get multiple TO

Bears for me.

I’ll always take a team we haven’t played over a divisional opponent that has experience with our nuances.

I also feel a second year QB in his first road PO off game is potentially
more vulnerable to mistakes than a Super Bowl winning vet.

Not scared of anyone just being logical.

And having played both the lambs and whiners (despite all this banged up jargon) three of the last four games (possibly 4 of 5), we will be battle tested and prove AGAIN we’re legit.

Truly believe whomever wins next weekend in NFC title game will win the superbowl.

I want history to note that the Rams lost to the Bears. The Bears!

An irrelevant footnote, really to the 2026 playoffs.

Rams. Let’s shut this ‘the Rams are the best team in football’ nonsense down.

1-1 vs them. Make it 2-1.

Tbh, this team wins out regardless of opponent.

Sound confident? More than ever brother.

Bears would probably be more interesting being the first time playing them but I went Lambs. Because it would be so sweet knocking them out on the way to the big game.

There should have been a third option: I don't care, so I didn't vote.

I want to play the best team at their peak, no injuries, no advancing due to some bad call by a ref, nothing for naysayers to use or try to put an asterisk behind should we win next weekend.

I suppose that if the Bears beat the Rams today, they are the best team playing the Seahawks. The evidence will be on the field.
