Snow Bunny has lasted a lot longer than I thought he would,
I give him credit for being good, you can however see that
his time is coming to an end, sooner than later.
#26 for Philly was rode hard, and put away wet too. Maybe he will have a revival, but he hardly looks like the guy who ran for 2K yards last year.

Sometimes I don't understand the people on this forum. Is it homerism or just ignorance? CMC had over 1200 yards rushing this year and 17 TDs. How is he washed? Oh, and he also had 102 receptions for over 900 yards. He's still very productive. Did anyone see the game against Chicago last week?

We shut down the 49ers run game on Saturday. Finally. But that doesn't mean CMC had a bad year.

It is true that he is 29, and next year will be his 10th year in the league, and age catches up to running backs pretty quick. So I agree he's probably near the end of his run, although he might have a few years as a third-down or primarily receiving back.

But for now, give the man his props.

Yeah, 102 catches for 900 plus AND 1200 yards rushing and 17 TD's?

In what world is that washed? Not trying to argue, but I don't know man. That's a pretty damn good season. Over 2000 all purpose is washed? Tired and understandably beat up? Probably.

He had a great year. They will be one and done in the playoffs, and he won't come close to those numbers ever again.

But he still had those numbers. Thus, not washed.

It was a great year from a total number standpoint. Yards per touch, it was his worst year since 2019 which was another year he absolutely dominated the overall touches on his team. He subsequently had an injury riddled year in 2020. I don't wish for injury on any player, but if he plays half the season next year I would be surprised.

This and after the game was probably pissed. I know he was upset at himself for not catching the deflected pass

Maybe if he wasn't so tired from being run into the ground all season long, he would have had better reaction time 😂

He chooses to be on the field that much you realize . Shanahan has said he gets pissed when they pull him out

Sounds like the coaches have no control. A better coach would get him to understand the value in keeping him from tiring himself out.

I think you are wanting something to be true that simply isn’t a fact . Feature backs like Achane , Taylor, Bijan all see 80 percent plus of snaps

One of these is not like the other. One of these things is old and injury prone.

His body is wearing down regardless of his stats, he's been run down ever since he got to SC and that takes a toll on your body, especially as a RB.

Next season will be his last. Book it.

I didn't say that though, I'm saying this now. We'll see how well it ages in exactly a year or so.

I have a different opinion…CMC’s jersey number is exactly the same number of rushing yards he put up.

It's entirely possible that Seattle's defense is just that good, but this is a guy who only had 4 100+ yard games this year. Being said, he put up 140 yds at 6.1 YPC and 117 at 5.6 YPC in the weeks before facing us. Granted that was against two pretty bad defenses.

Against the best defenses in the league that he faced, he had 23/2.9 vs Seahawks, 30/2.5 vs the Rams, and 25/3.1 vs Texans.

Sunday will be very telling of whether he is simply worn down, or just hit an immovable wall in Seattle.

On a spreadsheet
ok Saquon barkley then. He's one year older. Sees 80 percent of snaps
And sees nearly 20% less touches a game. A lot less toll on the body on non-touch plays.

In fact the next highest touches per game behind CMC is Taylor with more than 10% less. And that is with 3 years less wear on his body.
