If I’m 💯

I truly believe our D will be ok.

I think the key to winning is protecting Sam.

If, and I mean “if”, if we can consistently protect Sam and give him time, I think we win.

I don’t want to see a high scoring game (both teams) back and forth with a last minute “chance” to win.

I have ZERO faith that we can overcome the officiating in that scenario.

I do BELIEVE wholeheartedly that the Seahawks are the superior team.

Maybe this stat will help

18 sacks.

No that’s not any individual stat that is how many sacks the Niners have had all season (17 games).

Don’t get me wrong.

I know there is a chance, Hell I KNOW we are the better team.

I’m just not confident that we will win.

I worry about officiating
I worry about Sam
I worry about the Defense shiting the bed.
I even worry about that cesspool of field our guys will be playing on.

Again, it’s been 50 years of seeing this team fall short most of those years for various reasons.

I just can’t shake the skepticism.
Trust me, I try.
Oh I get it. My approach to Fandom has left me with a ton of disappointment and heartbreak.

SC defense is utter trash, color me not impressed in the least. Darnold will have a clean picket all night and be slinging it. Choose a HB and they'll be running up the gut at will.

Feel a lot more confident about this game than I did about the Rams game.
I think it'll the regular snobber knocker that it always is, but we'll come out on top. Their defense cant stop us all day, where our defense will get stops.

I know there are reasons I could/should be……

…But I’m just not.

I expect to lose this game, and I hate that feeling.

It’s 50 years of being a Seahawk fan that drives my pessimistic stance.

I’ll be extremely content to be the fool that didn’t trust my team when/if we win.

Anyone else just not “feeling it”?
I think we’re winning this game…but I also know the other team is really good.

If we lose…it’s a bummer but not the end of the season….far from it.

This season I’ve started just telling myself that they will find a way to win. I say it over and over. There’s it looks the more I say it.

Why does this narrative even exist anymore? Show me a game in the last 3 years where the field was trash. It's one of the best playing surfaces in the league
I agree that the field at Levi's isn't "trash", but there's no evidence saying that it's one of the best surfaces in the league.

In fact, they are planning on replacing the field with new sod sometime in the next few weeks in preparation for the Super Bowl:

Pappas also shared plans for the Super Bowl to be held on Feb. 8 at the San Francisco 49ers' home at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The field has been growing at a sod farm about two hours east of the Bay Area, with Pappas making several visits over the past 18 months to monitor the field.
The league will plan to install the field around the third week in January -- or later if the 49ers could be hosting playoff games.

They must have at least some doubt about the current playing surface or else they wouldn't have been planning on replacing it.

The weather forecast calls for light rain, temps in the high 50's, light winds. I'm sure the current field can handle the relatively small amount of precipitation called for tonight. I don't expect weather to be a factor.

I wish it was a game to put Santa Clara out of the playoffs. That would be so sweet.

Regardless hawks will win by 10.

You mean this field? Yeah, sure looks like one of the best playing surfaces in the league 🤣

I get pretty nervous when the majority here start calling it a win.

9rs have more team sacks than their opponents this season. Hopefully today that's not true....

Are you saying that the Niners have had more qb sacks than they’ve allowed their qb to be sacked?

If so that’s just not true. I checked several reputable sites including the 49ers own site and they have allowed 24 sacks. 16 on Jones and 8 on Purdy. They only have 18 total sacks defensively.

I hope this is the game where Seattle's running game really explodes. With the way SF has been scoring lately, they gotta limit the amount of drives SF has on offense.

No matter what happens the Seahawks must defeat evil and keep the Niners from attaining home field advantage through the Super Bowl. This cannot happen.
The entire NFC (at least) is rooting for the Seahawks today. No one wants a home team in the super bowl, apart from Whiner fans.

Yea I’m a bit confused by the statement he made.
Truly curious about the metrics he’s quoting.

I have so much confidence, I am willing to let you borrow some. Be sure to give it back when you find your own again.

I keep thinking this is the first of three “super bowls”. Tonight, NFC title game, and the real one.

If we get there and win it, we’ll have certainly earned it.
