This 5 seed scenario isn’t too shabby either.

When we beat the Niners, it will be nice rooting against the two NFCW teams wc weekend.

If we happen to lose, it’s extremely difficult to beat a divisional opponent three times in a year. Especially not one as talented as the Seahawks.

That Clams choke last night was great in so many ways. They likely get stuck playing AT PHILLY. I love their chances of losing that one.

They don't seem to match up well against Philly. But remember, if when we beat the Niners, it will be the Niners traveling to Philly (or Chicago), while the Rams go to Car or TB. The Rams and their fans will be pulling for the Hawks on Saturday night.

Good points. It just keeps getting better. Not only do the Clams lose back-to-back games, they get to pull for US hahahahahahaha
Sucks for all 37 fans of the Rams.

I don’t think that’s possible. Rams are locked into the 6th seed now and will head on the road to play the 3 seed (Philly). Loser of Saturday would be the 5 seed and play the 4 which can only be on the road vs the south winner. Rams losing last night was massive in that we can’t be anything but the 1 or 5 seed now so it’s either a bye or Car/TB round 1. I believe. Philly and Chicago could switch places but that doesn’t affect the Hawks.

Let me do the playoff machine real quick, brb.........

Ok, IF the Rams were to lose to the Cards, they would drop to the 6 and play AT Philly. Unless the Bears lose to the Lions. Then the Clams would play at Chicago.
If they beat the Cards, they are the 5. That's the scenario IF the Hawks win on Saturday.

Hawks are ONLY locked into either the 5 or the 1. No other seed than the 1 or 5.

If the Hawks win Sat and the Rams take care of business against Arizona, the Rams will be 5th seed and Niners the 6th seed.

Not after they lost last night. The Rams are the 6th seed regardless. Hawks and SF will be the 1 or 5. That’s locked in now with the Rams losing to ATL. I believe SF holds the tie breaker vs the Rams but I could be wrong. Either way let’s get that 1 seed! Hahah

Not true. IF the Hawks win, Rams are not automatically the 5. They not only could be the 5 or 6, but they could play 3 possible spots on the road. Winner of TB/Car, Bears or Eagles.

Check out the scenarios if the Hawks win AND the Rams lose. Also, if they get the 6, they will play at either Philly OR Chicago (if Chicago loses to the Lions)

We are either the 1 or the 5. Obviously the 1 is superior all around. But if we are 5, it is important that Philly doesnt get 2 because I think that the rams at 6 beat the bears at 3 and then we get Philly. Most likely at 5 we get SF second round anyways but you want philly at 3 because I think they are our toughest opponent with that defense and experience .

I was just wrong about SF having the tie breaker over the Rams so that all makes sense now. Thanks! #1 is fine with me! Going to be a fun final weekend for sure!

Love seeing people stress about scenarios that are a week away from being determined. Carry on 🍿

Not stressing out at all. This is a blast; I live for the playoff machine every year. Usually start hitting it the last 3 weeks of the season.
At least we GET to, a lot of teams will be watching at home. 18 to be exact.

I'm also thinking of how incredible red zone would be on Sunday AFTER we clinch the #1 seed and the division.

Even more delish than the Red Zone on the Sunday after beating the Rams.
Always a bummer knowing that it's the last Red Zone of the season though.

No fooling.

I never knew that. ;)

Not like I've been posting that all over the place like a maniac. 😂

But it still sounds funny whenever I read it (no matter who re-posts that fact) so carry on, good sir.

I love this. F the Rams, their fans, that stupid Puke-a Knucklehead-ua, and that moron McVay. :devilish:

Because of that choke job, the Hawks were basically given a virtual "safety net" in case the unthinkable happens and we don't get the 1 seed (but we will).

Man...I just want us to take care of business this Saturday and get the 1 seed and then sit back and relax for the next week watching these wildcard teams beat each other's brains in.
